"Very happy with this company. They were dependable. Always showed up and on time. Did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. Our decks look brand new. They are also a pleasure to have working in your space. Very, very good people. I will 100% use again and have already referred to others."

"Our yard in full of 30+ year old trees and in some places grass simply doesn't grow. We had a drainage and run-off issue along the walk down to our pool, partially caused by shade and partly by damage done when we had some concrete work done several years ago. We also had an issue with water pooling on one edge of the pool. Our goal with hiring Hackmann was to eliminate these issues and to make the yard more visually appealing.
We obtained bids from 5 different companies, but liked Dale Hackmann's vision of the work. He also was very responsive and willing to make changes so we selected his company. He also understood that we wouldn't allow any heavy equipment to be brought into the yard.
Due to the weird weather in the spring and early summer, the start of our job was delayed until the first of July. Dale's philosophy is to not start the next job until the current job is complete. Once his crew arrived and were walked through the job, they worked harder than I've ever seen a crew work, even with some very hot days. Everyone on the crew was polite and respectful. The work took 5 days to complete, and once complete the crew cleaned up after themselves. On the last day, which occurred after a short rain break, the crew lead noticed that one of the large river rock beds hadn't properly drained and he immediately remedied the issue.
For us, this was a very large job. We were 100% impressed with the work and the crew and will hire them again should we ever have another large landscaping job.

"InvoGreen completed three separate landscaping projects between July 2022 and July 2023 for our Mother. They were very professional and worked quickly completing the job in a timely manner. The workers were courteous and did excellent work and foresaw things we didn’t think of. Their work has a flair to it which produced a beautiful finished product. The owner was very easy to work with. We couldn’t be more pleased and highly recommend this female-owned company for any landscaping project you may have."

"Stance is wonderful! He not only cut, edged and cleaned up the mess that comes with lawn care, he consulted me on my new homes' "grass." In the beginning, he was mainly cutting all weeds and clovers but, with his guidance (because I wanted to do it myself) by the end of the season he was cutting a full green grass lawn. Stance is a hard worker who not only cares about his work, he cares about your lawn. Let him work his magic and you'll have the greenest grass on the block, literally, I do!"

FAQs for trees & shrubs treat, protect and maintain projects in Foristell, MO

The optimal transplanting season depends on your tree species, but most trees respond best when moved during dormancy. For deciduous trees, late fall after leaf drop or early spring before bud break provides the lowest stress periods. Evergreens transplant better in early fall or late summer when soil temperatures remain warm enough for some root growth. Avoiding transplanting during active growth periods helps trees direct energy toward establishing new roots rather than supporting foliage.

While technically, trees of any size can be transplanted with the right equipment and expertise, practical considerations limit what's reasonable for most homeowners. Trees with trunk diameters under 15 inches are most commonly transplanted in residential settings. Success rates decline as trees increase in size and age, with specimens over 24 inches in diameter presenting significant challenges and costs. For large trees, carefully weigh the substantial investment against the potential benefits and survival probability.

Most transplanted trees require one to two years to fully establish in their new location, with larger specimens often needing additional time. During this establishment period, the tree regenerates roots that were inevitably lost during the move. Signs of successful establishment include normal seasonal growth patterns, healthy leaf development, and reduced dependence on supplemental watering. The quality of aftercare during this critical period significantly influences long-term survival rates.

Self-transplanting is feasible for small trees with trunk diameters under two to three inches if you have proper tools and follow correct techniques. However, medium to large trees require professional expertise and specialized equipment to ensure tree survival and property protection. While professional services cost more initially, they achieve much higher success rates and prevent potential damage to your property or the tree itself. The investment in professional services often proves worthwhile when considering the value of mature trees.
