"David Odell was on schedule to provide me an estimate for an addition to my parking area, driveway widening, and walkway concrete. The work was carried out to the highest professional standard and communication throughout the project was excellent. We are really happy with the finished product. On top of all that, I requested two quotes for different scales of the project and was able to get all of the work done within my budget after approving both quotes. Odell Concrete demonstrated excellent work ethic and delivered high level craftsmanship to complete my project. "Vacation Pools did an excellent job remodeling our pool and installing patio pavers a few years ago. We decided we wanted to extend the patio pavers further out into the grass where it didn't grow and had become muddy. David, our prior salesman, came to our house, listened to our ideas and took measurements. We also needed the pool water drained and some minor resealing done under the coping . A few days later, David sent us the estimate which we felt was reasonable. We accepted and a start date for the following week was set. <br /> The work took approximately 5 days. The workers came and went daily and hours of arrival and departure varied depending on the stage of the job. The workers did an excellent job overall and were all very friendly and polite. It was a bit of a mess in the yard when they quit for the night and made it hard for us to navigate the dogs outside to the grass in the dark through the sand and pieces of rocks and pavers strewn over the area. This is my only reason for giving them a and quot;Band quot; instead of and quot;Aand quot; for professionalism. If we didn't have animals, it would not have been a problem. <br /> As with most jobs, there are always a few things needing final adjustment at the end of the work. The landscaper came back and adjusted sprinklers plus added an extra head for coverage. The pool filler float required readjustment and the pool man came and took care of it. <br /> We would not hesitate to use Vacation Pools again in the future. <br />"

"We have a 1/2 acre lot.  Although the large grass backyard was very attractive it was not very usable as it sloped away.  So we had a limited use yard, a small patio that could only comfortably handle about 4 people.  Additionally we were paying for watering and lawn service with no real return.  We decided that it would be a better use of the area if we extended the patio.  We also thought that it wold be too much concrete so we decided to put a Bocce court in the lower level.  That gives us much more use of the area. <br /> Our back yard is beautiful and everyone that has been there to visit and/or play Bocce has agreed.  The people that did the work were professional, friendly and respectful.  We feel like we have new friends. <br /> During the construction, we would be apprised of issues and given a choice of solutions.  Most of the time these were no-cost changes.  Their costs were almost always what they estimated.  Most of the cost increases came from my wife and I saying things like "while you at it..." or "can you also build...." <br /> When they did not feel completely comfortable with an issue (E.g., they changed a 220 volt line into 2 separate fused 110 volt lines with switches and outlets), they told us so and asked our permission to bring in a subcontractor (and electrician) to assure that everything was done correctly and to code.  They told us this during the design process. <br /> When things were not done to our expectations, they redid them.  A month after the job was done we saw grass growing through an area where the grass was removed, weed barrier installed and covered with mulch.  When we called, they came out to see and agreed that it should not have happened and are now in the process of redoing that area.  Great follow up! <br />"

"Bruce and his crew were very professional, were on time and the estimate was right on.  In addition, they came back the next day to clean up after the concrete was set. <br />"

"The excavation was smooth and very fast. David and his crew built the pool per our design. The design was complex but David managed to build it to our specifications. The pool included a custom jacuzzi and pool slide with glass tiles, pebble tech finish along with water fall features. The job required quite bit of masonry work. The cabana was built on 20 ft x 20ft foundation. Within the cabana, David's team built the cut-outs for a tv, fireplace, Italian wood burning pizza oven, sink, full size oven/stove, warming tray, ice maker, and beer tap. In addition, David was able to obtain some beautiful Palm trees for our backyard. Overall, David's team was very professional and courteous. The project did not finish on time, but some of the delay was due to Mother Nature, NatureScape and our part. At the end of the day, we are truly happy with our pool, cabana and landscape. I highly recommend naturescape pool to any customer. <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Fort Irwin, CA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
