"Gio and his team did an outstanding job with our pool project as well as the enhancements to our front yard. For the pool project, Gio mapped out a variety of options for us and marked them off so we could visualize it. Gio has great taste and great design ideas including barn doors under our deck as well as a built-in mini fridge to maximize our space. Gio and team completed the hardscaping as well as landscaping. Gio and his team are hard workers and were punctual. They ensured their tools, trash, etc. were all put away at the end of each day. His team was incredibly patient with us and helped pick out each piece of Carrara marble to ensure we were happy with the final product. I would only trust Gio and his team with a project of this scale as well as any future projects that we may have. We are so grateful for Gio and his amazing team!"

"We had a retaining wall installed when we had a pool put in 5yrs ago. The wall was sinking and was not serving its purpose. We had YYY&D come and gave us a quote which was similar to the 3 other received. We decided to use him and so happy we did! He removed our current wall and was able to reuse all the stone to rebuild. He reconstructed our retaining wall to do what is was supposed to do 5 yrs ago. They were prompt, reliable, friendly and had respect for our property. Neat and cleaned up and did a wonderful job! I highly recommend and I would use them again. Thank you! "

Customers say: Quick response

"I couldn’t be happier with the work done by Gutierrez Lawn Maintenance. We recently had them tackle a major backyard overhaul that included a full drainage solution, fresh soil, and new sod. The results are incredible and it feels like a completely different yard! They offered a very fair price and the quality of the installation was top-notch. If you’re looking for a team that is professional and delivers exactly what they promise, I highly recommend them."

"Work seemed good but then they were supposed to fix a couple of items and decided to stop answering my calls. They said they would send someone and then didn’t take fell off the face of the earth. With this type of work it is extremely important to follow up, so I wouldn’t hire them again."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Fort Mill, SC

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
