"I was disappointed that the service tech did not have the replacement faucet or garbage disposer with him when he came out. I made it clear in my request for an estimate that at a minimum, these two items need to be repaired/replaced so he should have brought them when he came. Instead, I had to wait for an hour for him to drive to the "warehouse" to pick up the items and come back. I did not see or sign the written estimate before I agreed to the quote, and I do believe I was gouged on the price, but the work needed to be done so I did not press the issue with John. Other than that, John was friendly, professional, and did a great job cleaning up after himself when we completed the work. The employee that contacted me to set up the appointment was also very friendly, prompt, courteous and professional. The lady that called the other day to see how things went was friendly and professional. For these reasons, I am willing to hire Hope Plumbing again for future plumbing need; however, I will scrutinize the invoice and demand to see the written estimate before hand."

Jeff was assigned to do the job from start to finish, and you seldom encounter an individual as talented and easy to get along with as him. He handled not only the demolition of the existing bathroom, but was able to do the required plumbing, electrical, dry wall, sub floor, and installing the cabinets and vanity top without the need for involvement of another contractor. The floor and wall tile was laid with precision, and Jeff made sure the work areas, both inside and outside were cleaned up at the end of each day. "Jake digged  out a trench to put line from the house basement to the street. After his work was done there was a major leak from the rain water into the house through the basement wall. They failed to consider that older houses don't have an isolation and when the soil became disturbed they didn't even bother to slope it correctly away from the house until the basement was full of water. In my opinion they did two mistakes that caused damage - 1. they should notify me to put some isolation around the house after they digged the trench ( I would expect them to know that as professionals) ; 2. they failed to slope away from the house right away and not after the water got into basement. The plumbing itself works OK so far. <br />"
