"Ron was detailed, thorough, and did excellent work. He completed the job as promised and was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. He painted the interior of a house that we just purchased and were not living in yet. The week he painted for us, we had both a gas and water leak. As a result, we had to turn off the water as well as the furnace until we could make the necessary repairs. He never complained and continued to do quality work despite less than ideal conditions. Our house has been transformed due to the expertise of Ron and his helper, Randy. Very, very appreciative! Ron is a professional with 30+ years of experience and it shows. Would highly recommend!"

"We had our whole interior painted and they were amazing! Not an easy job either, very high ceilings with beams. They were professional, hard working, honest, and had great attention to detail. We would definitely hire them again for all of our painting needs!"

"The best painters that I have ever used. Very neat work with no splatter or mess left behind. Very professional and easy to work with. I have used many painters in the past, but GwinCo is by far the best for quality and price. I have recommended them to several people who ended up using them and they couldn't thank me enough. I had such a good experience that I hired them to do some repairs on my home and was just as impressed with the level of craftsmanship in their work. I truly would never use anyone else. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Franklin, KY

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
