"Arborex took some trees down for us 5 years ago and we were very happy with the results. So when we needed more extensive tree removal done this month, i did not hesitate to call them again. We had one very difficult and dangerously leaning very mature oak tree that required the crane for safe removal. In addition to that there were 2 mature river birch trees next to our deck and 2 other dead mature oaks that also needed to go. In addition, numerous mature oaks in both the front and back yards needed serious, high trim work. Once again, Usman and his crew did a terrific job for us. "I contacted them because their reviews in Anglie's List were good and because they were close by. We needed to transplant some day lilies from a corner since they were growing so far and tall that they blocked the line of sight from cars needing to turn (safety hazard). As a result we were having the grouping of day lilies split up to go to two different properties rather than destroy them. The owner answered immediately and we arranged a time for him to come see/estimate the same day when he finished at another job. He came out and gave a great price and was able to do it the next morning. He was very informative on the process (e.g., mix with the existing soil, compost, and garden soil, etc.) and what I should do to follow-up to help them along in their new locations. He does have a heavy accent but, make no mistake, he knows what he is talking about. I have worked with a number of landscapers of the years and he is as knowledgeable as some of the bigger names in the area. I would definitely recommend him and will likely use him for some upcoming projects I have in mind for my yard.

"Dan and his crew were punctual in their start time and finished what I consider a large job in less than a day and a half. This was at a house my wife rents to a family member so I had marked the trees to be cut with orange tape ahead of time. By the time I arrived the first morning, Dan had already briefed his crew on the work to be done and they started at it soon after. We had already discussed disposal of the trees and I opted to have the smaller stuff (less than 12 " diameter) chipped  on site and spread on the wooded lot. The rest would be hauled off. During the first hour or so of work, a neighbor came by and asked for the larger stuff to use for firewood. Dan and his crew obliged and trekked the larger stuff next door to him.  I was very well pleased with the quality and speed of work. A couple of the trees were actually leaning over the house and these were removed without incident to the property. Most of the other trees were also close to the house and also removed without incident.  The stumps were ground up satisfactorily. The clean up when they were finished cutting was also very good. There was not much to do once they were finished. I moved some of the wood chips around a little and smoothed out the few bobcat tire tracks that were left in the backyard. No problem. I will have these guys back next time I need tree work done!
