"Everything with american standard roofing went great. Their pricing was right in line (or less) than the other 3 quotes I received. The guy giving the estimate did not have a hard sales pitch or some stupid slide show on a tablet. They simply quoted the job and let me make a decision with out any pressure. When it came to install day they came with a massive crew and had all of the work completed within the same day. I had a lot of decking boards that were rotted and needed to be replaced as well. The new roof looks great and it does not leak."

On first glace, seeing D's was startling. However, as you can see for yourself, as I looked further they are all basically from people who didn't get any work done and had problems with getting quotes or follow ups in time. I definitely can understand it's hard to get back with everyone but I felt more assured that for those that he DOES work for, rarely have anything bad to say. I just wanted to add that because the negative reviews in this respect are misleading in a way. Best of luck"

"It was A+ through the entire process. The person who did the quote was a pure professional. He did a thorough on-the-roof evaluation. He prepared a detailed written quote with a couple of options (mainly repair vs. replace), with every aspect of the job laid out clearly, which he then reviewed with me - there was nothing left to chance or open for interpretation. When the install date approached, the materials were delivered ahead of time and stored neatly. Tom was in touch regularly to make sure we knew when his crew would be there and what they would be doing. The crew members were friendly and professional (about 9-10 guys) and completed the job in under a day. Clean up was amazing. I told Tom that I do not remember when I had a more pleasant experience with a home contractor. The pricing estimate was nearly perfect. The only reason that we paid a little more than was on the estimate is that the house had more wood-rot damage than normal under the old shingles. Otherwise there were no surprises."

"I shopped around getting quotes from many roofers. Some went really really bad. Some very hard core sales people out there. I literally had to throw two guys out. Manual was great to deal with. He came out the same day I called and quoted the roof. He gave me shingle samples. He gave a very detailed quote on what he was going to do. After researching his company and the materials everything was great. Manual uses the best shingles. He also came on time and I did not have to wait long for him to get started. They finished the job on one 95 degree day. Quality seems great so far and the price is the best. Very responsive and easy to deal with. I highly recommended."
