"Fantastic. He is a master brick craftsman and professional from start to finish of the project. He did a large backyard patio of recycled brick and some stone tile for us a year ago. A year later – we love it."

"I had Tim Albert at the house today for a stove problem. He fixed the problem quickly and to my satisfaction. We have used Tim before and always found him professional and honest. We request him by name when we have an appliance issue."

"The project went smooth. A lot of hard work in the summer heat, on hands and knees planting a lot of mondo grass. That part took forever and required patience. Old pea gravel was removed and replaced with a stone walkway and numerous other plants were installed, as well as top soil and mulch put down. I wasn’t at hope the first couple of days when the project finished, so Ray came by to water everything. After payment was rendered, he came back to make some small adjustments to account for water drainage after the 8 inches of rain fell in one day. Would definitely use again, as Ray takes pride in his work and wants to make sure the customer is happy."

"Larkin Bagget was our salesman, consultant and jobsite supervisor. We found him to be a wonderful person to deal with. Mudbug Pavers exceeded our expectations. The price was fair and we have a beautiful area for entertaining. Where we had a muddy side yard before, its now a wide cement walkway with a retaining wall that matches our patio pavers and extension. we would recommend them to anyone, and will."

"Superb. Greenscape Design is a small local company providing outstanding service. I've used them for four projects at my home in Prairieville. They always go above and beyond, so I keep calling them back. Josh Williams, the landscape architect and owner, is one of the nicest people you'll meet, super-friendly and easy to work with, willing to accommodate, dream with you, plan with you, listen to your ideas and make them happen. He also keeps his word no matter what. His crew is of the same caliber - friendly, highly skilled, professional, hardworking. Having worked with Josh and his crew four times over the past 5 or 6 years, I have found that their work is impeccable, their service is professional, ethical, and outstanding in quality. They are, in my experience, the best of the best, and I wouldn't call anyone else to complete landscaping projects around my home."

Small jobs welcome

"I would give Drainage Plus 10 stars if I could! Troy was recommended to me by a very reputable civil engineer in this area and it is easy to see why- their work is excellent, their team is extremely hard working, and their prices are very fair and reasonable. Troy always responded quickly and courteously to all my questions and the whole team went above and beyond on my drainage project (they built retaining walls, installed drainage pipes and dug drainage ditches). I would highly recommend Drainage Plus to anyone in need of drainage solutions."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in French Settlement, LA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
