"WARNING - THIS IS A BAIT AND SWITCH First let me say, the women who came to my house to clear were on time, they did an excellent job and were beyond pleasant. I called Molly Maids on a Monday for a "one-time" cleaning pre-holidays. I had two phone calls with representatives from the company in which I was given a pretty strong "our availability is filling up" pitch. I asked if I could get an estimate, and was scheduled for a walk through estimate on a Thursday. I was then called back on Tuesday and told "we can actually give you an estimate on the phone" and told my home (roughly 2600 square feet) would cost between $400-$600. The in-home estimate was cancelled. I was again given the "we don't know if we'll still have availability" pitch, and the amount was within my budget, so I agreed to the cleaning. When the staff showed up they did a quick walk through of the property and I was told it would actually be more than $1000. At this point, having baited me and wasted a week of time prior to my in laws coming in from out of town I was, as I assume they intended, in a bind. I could have refused the service, and not gotten a cleaning, but I needed it, and so agreed to it. As if that wasn't enough during the cleaning I was contacted by the company and told actually, it will be MORE than even what they had quoted me that day. I was, literally, told that they could stop at that point, and not finish cleaning THE KITCHEN of the home. Yes, because what I called Molly Maids for was to pay more than twice what I was quoted and then still not have the kitchen cleaned. I complained and was told that a Manager would call me on Monday. I did receive a call Monday, but the Manager (who had done the quote over the phone with me) actually couldn't be bothered to call. He had an office worker call me and tell me that they would be taking $40 off my bill. So to summarize Molly Maids Fresno (or at least the manager there) baits you with a quote, sends wonderful people to do a wonderful job, and then more than doubles that quote in actual charges, and doesn't even have the common courtesy to call and tell you they took advantage of you, but instead has an office person (she was very nice and apologetic) call and say, in a nice way, too bad, we've got your Credit Card on file and you're being charged more than twice as much. Again, the staff is incredible, my house looks amazing, just the "manager" is an issue in that they bait and switch you."
