"I lifted the top spoiler on the back of our Lexus LX470 with our garage door. Not my best moment but, the day got worse, as that now meant I was going to have to repair my beloved SUV and my garage door! The top spoiler was simply lifted. It was not completely broken off nor was it cracked or damaged. Seemingly, it just needed to be bolted back down. Although that seemed logical to me, when I called around for estimates and after sending close up pics and a video, I was told everything from "you might need to replace the whole back liftgate" (wasn't going to do that - completely unaffected and absolutely ridiculous) to "no way to repair, you have to get a new spoiler for $500". Lexus, of course, was the most expensive ($1,075 to replace top spoiler) which was no surprise however, in all fairness, the body shop who mentioned the liftgate replacement would have been the most costly if I was that naive. I ended up choosing Eddie because Lindsey, who happens to be Eddie's daughter/front office manager and potentially taking over the business one day, gave me a call right away. She was professional and quick to understand what I was looking to accomplish. She told me with conviction that if anyone could fix my car, it is her dad. She assured me of his honesty and made me feel confident in his capability. She also took my VIN and got right back to me with an estimate to replace the top spoiler just in case we had to go that route. Her quote was in line with another quote. I met Eddie in person and he was kind and made me feel like I was in good hands. He reiterated what Lindsey had conveyed in our telephone conversation. Turns out I was in good hands, as Eddie was able to bolt my spoiler back down and at less than a fourth of what it would have cost me to replace it. Looks like nothing ever happened. Good to do business with someone who has a conscience and also does great work! We're thrilled and cannot recommend Eddie highly enough!"
