It was evident through their salesman Tom that they had comprehensive experience to handle the project beginning with 3D renderings to submit for HOA approval along with suggestions to modify the original concept for cost control and the discussions of the materials for every surface. "We had a very large driveway and patio that was incorrectly built from the original builder and was becoming a serious hazard due to the uneven surfaces and severe cracking of the concrete slabs. The Owner Lloyd and his wife came over to provide us a quote and suggest ways to achieve vision of what we wanted for the replacement of the concrete to last. We had a lot of great ideas, but Lloyd had to put all of them together, and educate us on what was the best way to accomplish our goals. He really knows how to do that too. We even did our home work to get a few quotes before, and L&L was by far the most professional and “realistic” of the other contractors. Their attention to details and honesty about some of the options that we though we wanted gave us an immediate comfort level with L&L since it was going to be a big and costly job. Lloyd has done this for many, many years and has the experience and the knowledge to do what a is right the first time. Thanks to Lloyd’s suggestions, know-how, we redesigned some things and it really made the finished product extremely functional and the design of it very good to look at too. L&L Concrete’s crew was also very skilled and worked like a well oiled machine. These guys are hard workers, polite, respectful and very clean regarding trash and other construction debris that can get out of hand quickly. "Adhered to initial schedule forecast for completion. Reinforcing steel placement and concrete placement went very well. Construction overall was very good. Only negative is the stamping process that left some void portions along the edge of the driveway where the stamped pattern was very faint. Selected brick pattern needed to be applied uniformly across the width of the driveway to provide the required effect of hand laid brick. All other construction activities were excellent. Ray had a large crew for the concrete pour that were all experienced and competent. He managed the crew size very well. Activities subsequent to the pour were completed with a smaller crew, with Ray taking the lead with the finishing tasks. Ray was attentive and managed the crews very well. The project was completed in a professional manner and within the originally forecast duration. I would recommend New Creation Concrete for paving projects, including stamped concrete projects."
