They didn't seem very eager to help and were not overly friendly. Maybe I'm just looking for some better customer service."

The work was estimated to take 3 days and might have been finished in that time had the crew not been rained out late one afternoon and waiting for dry conditions on another morning or two. No trees fell on my house and all brush was hauled off as I requested. Wood left onsite was cut into manageable logs that I'll split and use in my woodstove this winter. I didn't get multiple quotes, but the price seemed reasonable based on some other tree work my family has had done in the past (by other companies). The largest tree that was taken down (an old maple) was quoted at $950 but was a special case; the trunk was probably 4' in diameter, rotting, and had a large limb overhanging the house. The two other trees taken down were also fairly large but were quoted at $550 each."
