"We received several quotes from roofing companies but Steve really sold us on Fredericksburg Builders. Our neighbors had also used them and were very happy with them. One thing that made them stand out was that we wanted new gutters and they were able to get them in many different colors, vs. a competitor that could only get them in white or brown, where we definitely needed a taupe or beige color. I appreciated that Steve told us upfront that our roof wouldn't show as 3-dimensional as our neighbors because of our pitch being alot lower, so I wasn't surprised at the end. We had a couple little hiccups, but Steve and his crew were ready to take care of them, quickly and professionally. We would definitely recommend them again and for the price of the roof, gutters and shutters, we thought it was great value!"

"Very impressed with responsiveness, professionalism, technology, and value provided by Gunner Roofing. The copper flashing was pulling away from around my chimney and looked like it was in need of repair or replacement. I had previously worked with another well reviewed roofing company on Angie's List that missed my scheduled appointment to examine my chimney flashing. So I was very pleased when Andrew from Gunner showed up exactly when promised, and I was quite fascinated with his use of a drone to take precise aerial photographs of the work to be performed from all angles - a rather tech savvy approach. Gunner provided a detailed estimate within hours, that was only 1/3 the cost of the estimate I ultimately received from that other roofer. Gunner Roofing completed the work on time, and did a very satisfactory job. This was a relatively modest project, but based on my experience, I hope to use Gunner Roofing when it comes time to redo my entire roof."

"We had used this company earlier for a repair over our garage that they were able to locate and fix. Joe Rhoden came out promptly to look at the job, give an estimate and returned with his son and did a good repair. He took photos of the area and also took photos of my chimney and pointed out corrections I may need to do. Excellent. When we needed more work done, we called again. They replaced old worn flashing on our 15 year old roof and inspected our shingles. (Again took photos of the areas to show me exactly what needed to be done prior to the job) We also had them replace two skylights that were 30 years old and foggy. This time Joes brother Ruben was incharge of the job. They again were neat and on time, and with their crew did an excellent job."

"He was the first, and only, guy to respond that day. He came out within a few hours of my call and proceeded to inspect the roof. I had a few shingles in my yard from a storm the night before and wanted it checked out right away. After inspection, he said all that needed to be done was to put some new shingles in place and he also put down some kind of sealant. He said the rest of the roof was in good shape and it just happened to be the angle the wind caught the edge at that caused them to be ripped off. He was honest and I will call him again when it comes time for a new roof. I've already recommended him to my brother-in-law, as they will be needing a new roof soon. I can't say it enough, I would recommend Prosser roofing to everyone I know! <br />"

"Absolutely professional from start to finish. The owner showed up to bid the job on time, and well dressed in a J.Alexander Polo. He was extremely educational w/ what I was gettting into, so their were no suprises if they were to get the job. The price was competitive and felt most comfortable w/ them--do to the time & knowledge he shared w/ me when giving the estimate. They didn't let me down and actually only exceeded my expectations when doing the roof. They had an eight man crew and everyone seemed to know their job responsibility. They had a guy running the ground the whole time-cleaning up and running a magnet for loose nails. They said they had two roofs to do that day. I thought they were crazy, even though I had a small roof (22.5 square). By 11am they had all the shingles removed, nails pounded down and the roof felted. Come to find out the owners are identical twin brothers who were both on the roof working along w/ the crew. The crew split up after the roof was felted, one brother stayed w/ three others to lay the shingles while the other group went to start the next roof. I was just hoping they got my roof done in a day like they said, It wouldn't suprise me one bit if they got both roofs done like they wanted to. I would refer anyone and everyone to JAlexanderRoofing-they were amazing from start to finish. <br />"

"On the day Mr. Edwards was to come and make his inspection, he got lost a few times. We communicated by cell phone to help him find our house. He was pleasant, but tended to downgrade competitors. The photo he took of the damage was very helpful in our understanding of why the roof was leaking. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />My husband, who was at home during the repairs on the 26th, states that Mr. Edwards again arrived late, citing that he had overslept, but got the repairs finished in just a few hours. While we had two other companies come out, Mr. Edwards was available on the shortest notice, which was helpful to us, as we wanted repairs made before another rain was forecast. "Two guys came out , the one doing the roof was very new and didn’t know how to answer any of my questions. The other man was way too vague. I asked when the moss would come off, and he didn’t know. I never even got a receipt. The moss is still on my roof."
