"The first time I had my carpets cleaned by the owner and he did a fantastic job.  He got everything out, even stains that were there when we moved in.  He also made several passes over the carpet to ensure that is was a dry as possible before leaving.  It only took about 3 hours for the carpet to be bone dry after he left.  Also there was no strange feeling on the carpet like some other carpet cleaning places places leave, almost a dirty sticky feeling.  My only complaint is that I am not a smoker and I don't really think it is professional for someone to come into your home smelling like they smoked a cigarette as they pulled into your driveway.  The second time we had the carpets cleaned the other guy came.  Same thing with the cigarette smoke.  It was overpowering when he walked into the house, so unprofessional.  He was nice but unfortunately did not get everything out of the carpet, left the carpets so wet that it took almost 15 hours for it to dry, left a dirty feeling residue on the carpet and in one spot where our dog had an accident, the carpet still smelled of urine.  Just make sure you request the owner, Tim.  He really knows what he is doing and takes pride in doing the best job he can.
