Nevertheless, George consistently communicated to ask our opinion on several aspects of the project to ensure it met our expectations, including when a screen door was unworkable (due to no fault of his), he quickly procured an alternative and installed the next day. George brought levity and attention to detail to the project, working to make sure everything was accomplished for maximum function and beauty. All this, and the project was completed for a very reasonable price. "James McCarron came to evaluate the restructure of our outdoor stairs to allow us to access the water spigot on the side of our house but inaccessible because of the stairs. While he gave us the estimate for the approach for the stairs, he recognized that the best solution was not a carpentry solution but a plumbing solution which we supported. He could have pushed the carpentry option, but he gave us a solution that would save us money, time, and resolved our spigot access situation at the same time. His honesty went a long way to the credibility of the company."

"Initial rep was great and informative. Felt comfortable with initial sale. Hardly had any contact from customer service except for the payments. There were several delays that we were not informed about unless we called to ask. Took 7 months before they showed up to begin project. Only 1 person was sent to build steps. Took a week. Hard worked, hardly took a break. Had to call again to see when they would come to pour patio. Never knew when they were coming, they just showed up. Hardly spoke with the homeowners. Inspection paperwork was just left on porch. Additional paperwork that is "required by the County" had to be completed by homeowner and taken to Court house to be notarized and filed and also provide a copy back to Long Fence. Time sensitive materials which added to homeowners to-do list. Gave this contract to LF on the surface of their history and appearance of a 'good local company' but should have stayed with original contactors in VA. Puddle of water forms when it rains"
