"This is a reliable company to have design your landscaping. We are very happy to have picked Green Acres to do our project. A very large project I must express. They were one of six companies we had interviewed. Not only did I feel comfortable with
Mark Stone but we simply fell in love with his design concept for our back yard. Mark was the only one out of the other five that came up with an actual design. When it came time for plants we spoke with Bill Stone. He also listened to what we wanted in plants and came up with an outstanding environment. And one that is not only beautiful but easy to maintain throughout the year.
We needed to extend our back yard. Upon exiting the back door we had a 24 x 24 concrete slab then a mountain straight up the back and the length of the entire house. To our surprise he designed two actual living spaces with pavers, retaining wall, four
hardscape planters, a mountain pushed back with absolutely beautiful plants. We also wanted to incorporate a Hot Tub which Mark was able to design a special place for. He had the intuitiveness on how to position the Hot Tub so it would flow with the beautiful retaining wall. Because we had the project started so late last year we were unable to have all of the plants installed. After November it was difficult for Bill to pick up mature plants. I worried about this because I had paid in full the amount due on the project, which included the plants. Bill and Mark are true gentlemen and will stand behind every word they tell you. They installed the remainder of plants due and did more than what I expected. The work crew is also to be complimented. They are courteous beyond what anyone would expect. All tools are picked up nightly when they leave. I left my house unlocked and garage wide open and did not have a worry in the world when I left for the day. They are very, very, respectful and do a fantastic job with Marks direction. The crew has been with Bill and Mark for well over ten years. They all have a special bond which makes the company work. Mark is very prompt in responding to all text and phone calls. Even after the project had been completed I was able to contact him several times with questions and he has always been there for me.
We are extremely pleased with what Green Acres accomplished for us. I will ?always? call on them for more work.
Thank you guys, Trudy"

"Great! Daryl made suggestions based on what we wanted and improved the overall look of our yard. His crew members were very respectful of our property and took care to make everything look beautiful. They went above and beyond...we got more than we expected! They left no trash or evidence they were there (we had issues with another contractor). I would highly recommend them and plan to use them for another project in the future."

"Valley Landscaping re-landscaped a side of our house, which included removing some large trees, stump grinding, grading the soil, putting down sod, mulching a large steep bank, and planting a few small trees and perennials. We discussed the work with Garrett beforehand, and from the start he seemed very arrogant. When they had to change the plans a little bit due to some underground issue I wanted to be clear on what the new plan was, so I asked a few questions and when I expressed a little bit of concern over whether the flat area would be big enough he said something to the effect of "Look, I've been doing this a long time, and you seem to worry about a lot of stuff, so just try to stay calm and trust me things will be fine." When I told him again the dimensions of the swing set and that I wanted to make sure it would fit he said "Y'all seem like the type of people that would buy a 30-feet boot for a 20-feet space". I guess he was trying to be funny. But I've never worked with somebody so condescending, and don't ever plan to work with him again.
The workers showed up on time and they did good work. But it never failed that when it was quitting time for the day, they got the h*** out of dodge in a hurry without ever talking to me, even on the final day. Poof, they were gone. They hooked up a sprinkler around lunch time on the final day, and explained the sprinkler to me verbally in about 2 minutes, then went on about their work for the remainder of the afternoon. That was the final day, and they left around 5:30pm without saying a word as usual. One would think a professional company like Valley Landscaping would leave WRITTEN instructions on how to operate the sprinkler (including how often it should be running), how often to water the sod, the trees, and plants. But no, when the work was done that was it. And we're not natural green thumbs. We expected some guidance in the form on clearly written instructions on how to care for the $10,000 landscaping job they just did. Oh, and the sprinkler was faulty so it ran for about 12 hours straight before we realized it. I thought it seemed to be running a lot, but then started doubting what the worker told me as far as how often it should run. Again, providing WRITTEN instructions seem like a common sense thing for a landscaping business to provide it's customers.
Valley Landscaping does good work but that by itself isn't enough, so we likely will not use them for any future landscaping jobs due to the attitude of the manager and their communication style .
"

"Masterpiece Landscaping replaced a section of my driveway with brick pavers. The workmanship was absolutely beautiful, I have
already gotten many compliments on the job. They had to cut the bricks to make them fit and do miters and the cuts were perfect. I would recommend them to anyone needing hardscape work."
