"I’m a fellow contractor and hired F&G Construction to help me complete a project. There were all types of different wood that needed to be matched up, drywall repair, and some painting and staining. He did an amazing job and the finished work was truly breathtaking!! I have been through many local contractors for drywall work, and I have never been so impressed. I look forward to working with Frank on future projects!"

"Carlos and his paint team painted nearly our entire interior of our home excluding 1 bedroom which we recently painted. Their work was exceptional in every respect , they were on time each day, and provided us a detailed work schedule and plan for work flow and stuck to thge plan. All painting was professional, 2 coats of the highest quality We have ever experienced ! . Upon completion a final inspection was performed by us and Carlos and any anomalies were corrected to our complete satisfaction. House was cleaned of all tape and materials. then vacuumed .I highly recommend Carlos (Creativity Painting) for all your painting needs .We are completely satisfied with the outstanding results ! Thank You , Carlos and crew !"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Gap-mills, WV

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
