"Tom and his crew were great! We have a small ranch, and it had been probably 35 years since the kitchen was remodeled. We wanted to have a load-bearing wall removed between the living room and the kitchen, in order to open up the space. The kitchen was gutted to the studs and subfloor. We needed a beam installed to replace the wall. We had the old windows removed and new windows installed. We stayed in the house without a working kitchen or living room while the job was done. Tom and his crew made what could have been a very stressful situation pretty painless. All the people who worked in the house were professional, courteous, careful, and cleaned up after themselves. They took the time to make sure things were done right. Tom was great about keeping us informed about the process - who would be coming each day and what they would be doing. If no one was going to at the house, he let us know why. He recommended quality sources for the kitchen cabinets and for the quartz countertop. He had a flooring guy who was able to match the existing wood floor in the living room so we could run the same floor in the kitchen and down the hallway. That saved us about $4000 from the cost of installing all new wood floors. All in all, we are thrilled with our new kitchen, pennisula and the openness of the area now. We want to have our bathroom renovated and as soon as we have the money, I'm calling Tom to come out and take care of that for us."

APC is extremely communicative via Angie's List messaging, which I appreciate - I get so many spam calls to my cell phone that I don't pick up for unknown numbers. They responded within 30 mins of my inquiry, and they made an appointment to meet me for an estimate on Saturday morning - super convenient. When they arrived, they were very professional and polite. I felt comfortable with them immediately. Our job was very small - we were replacing a rusty, old corrugated metal roof on our garage with a new asphalt shingle roof that matches our house's roof. Because it was a small job they were able to fit us in just 3 days later. Price seemed reasonable. Crew was efficient and left the space clean. Very happy with how the roof looks."

"Had them come out to repair some rot behind our gutters and seal an area that was just starting to show signs of a leak. Got an initial estimate and signed the contract and then didn't hear anyting until I had to follow up a couple of times to schedule the repairs. Bob and Willie came out and did a great job, lots of attention to detail and took their time to make sure the job was done right. While there, got talking about repair of the front porch steps. Spoke to owner Chet who gave me a pretty reasonable price on the phone, so agreed to move ahead with the repairs. Once again, Bob and Willie did a great job and the stairs have come out very nice. Get a call from Chet to finalize the payment and he quotes the final price to be more than $1000 above the initial estimate. He tried to convince me on the phone that he would have never quoted the price that was initially quoted. I know what my budget was and would not have accepted the price at the end of the project. Unfortunately, I did not ask for a text or email to document the initial price, so its on me. Will need to have my roof done in a few years and I will not be using them again."
