"A-power Electric Service was referred to me by an electrician friend of my brother. So I contacted John the owner and we set up a time for him to come by and look the job over. I had considered getting several estimates before contacting John but by the time we were done looking the job over and discussing what needed to be done and cost I was completely confident I needed to look no further for another contractor and we set up a date and time to do the work. <br />     The work began as scheduled. At the end of the first day of work the crew had eliminated the old main panel and tied all the circuits into the new main panel which replaced one of the old sub-panels and was now the main panel. They also replaced the other old  sub-panel in the basement, installed a new meter box and  service entrance(mast). The crew worked a very hard and long day to make sure the  power was back on and everything  working before they went home for the evening. We scheduled a date and they completed the remaining work on the detached garage on that date, after which John called it in to the city inspector who later came by and approved the job. <br />     It was a pleasure working with A-Power Electric. They were very professional and productive. When initially looking the job over John quickly evaluated the job, what needed to be done and provided his estimate of cost. John has a high degree of integrity and quickly won my trust and confidence. I would highly recommend A-Power Electric, and have. "Thanks for the great work!  Initial visit for a quote + sizing up the job was straight forward.  Now that the work is done, we love the installation (very clean, looks good) and are very happy with their location choices.  When they came out to do the install we talked about wireless remote control vs. wired switch; they suggested going with in-wall "slider" style switches, one with 4 settings for the fan and one with 4 for the light (e.g. dimmer).  Works great, no existing ceiling fixture but they cut very clean & minimal wall holes to get the wires run.  I thought the rates were quite reasonable.  Heritage Electric are now our go-to guys for electrical work! <br />"

"All went well - this was an Angie's list special of 1 hour of electrical work, and we had a number of minor jobs: <br /> <br />Install a ceiling light in pantry (there was already a power outlet in the attic 2ft above it. <br />Move a light switch in garage to a more convenient position (no new wires, nor extensions, just shifting it 6 inches (and slightly higher to keep the cord length the same). <br />Had a mysterious 3rd light switch that we thought used to control a power socket in the living room, but didn't now (previous owners had made it a normal power socket). Wiring was still behind the power socket so he could revert it (and now we have a lamp plugged in) <br />And a different power socket in the living room needed replacing (as plugs just fell out of it under gravity). <br /> <br />All minor, and half of them I could have done myself easily, but nice to have someone do it properly. <br /> <br />He showed up on time, and I hoped in the hour to get the ceiling light and light switched power socket done - others if there was any time left... but all 4 got done. <br /> <br />Happy with the results, and surprisingly happy with the ability to turn on a light in the living room with a switch. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Because of the fault we only had limited power to house so no water pump , ovens etc. They were very prompt getting to house to diagnose problem. Also because cable was underground they needed services of Fault Finder and Excavator because line was buried deep.  They recommended providers of these services and both were very prompt and provided excellent service ."
