"Don't let the name fool you: Mr. Damer does much more than excavation. I'm a single mom and I have an older house that's not a fixer-upper but has come up on generational updates/maintenance. I'm on a budget and can pay, but not pay twice if it's done wrong. Mr. Damer cut down and removed a very large dead tree in my yard and clear about 30 x 8' of dense shrubbery, then regraded and seeded it, and finally chainlink fenced it increasing immensely, the utility of my yard for the kids. As a USMC veteran Mr. Damer is disciplined and efficient and respectful of a family environment - a throwback to an older generation. In the house Mr. Damer has helped to begin electrical updates/upgrades installing new work lights in my basement, an oven hood and ceiling fixtures. I would highly recommend Mr.Damer to people I consider good friends!"

He always asked me about how I wanted things done before he started working. Was always in time and did an excellent job! He was the cleanest handyman I’ve ever seen. "For the second time we are so pleased with our recent contract with Potter House Group.  Our first experience with Potter House Group was a new build construction project.  They found us a lot and built us a custom home about 9 years ago.  Since then we relocated into a 115 year old home and we hired them for our kitchen remodel.  First we did our research, and we sought bids from several contractors.  Potter House Group once again had a competitive quote, that we felt had all the "bases" and potential "surprises" covered.  We also felt that the allowances that were allotted in our estimate allowed us to select quality selections for the fixtures, granite, cabinetry & flooring.  What impressed us the most is that once again we worked directly with the owner, Lee, for the duration of the project.  From the very beginning, Lee was professional, honest, and extremely efficient with our time.  Our kitchen was completely gutted down to the bare studs, removing of walls, flooring, electric, and a back staircase.  When you are without the hub of your home-the kitchen-meeting timelines is very important.   They met all timelines and brought in the necessary resources and tradesmen to perform various scopes of work.  All the inspections that were needed went well too.  Lee addressed any questions or concerns we had during the process responsively.  Without a doubt, Potter House Group will be the contactor we use for the next job.  We are already dreaming of our next project, a master bath addition.  Can?t wait!  Potter House Group is highly recommended!!!

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
