"The installation of the door was done well; however, the work area was not adequately protected (no floor protection) and a crowbar was dropped on my new hardwood floor and put a gash in the floor. There was also a communication issue between the sales department and the installers on putting on new break metal around the outside of the door. Yes I would use them again but I would confirm everything with the installers before the start and I would make sure they prep the area to protect the property."

However, it would be nice if the company would take an extra few minutes and clean the door frame. Apparently that service isn't included in the price, but most people would probably pay a few dollars extra to have the frame wiped down so they could just re-install the door. As a business owner myself, I wouldn't (and don't) turn a completed project over to the customer that he or she would then have to do additional work on. But this issue wouldn't prevent me from recommending the company."

I entered the information of what I was looking for and I got a quote right away from the owner and a phone call to answer any further questions I may have had. Pricing was almost 1/2 of the quote we were given through another company. Videos are available that describe the different windows they offer. With being busy, this made the process of purchasing these windows so easy and we didn't have to meet with someone 2 or 3 times before purchasing. "Agreed upon services were competitively priced and completed in a timely fashion. However, the Blue Ribbon Exteriors installation team should be very careful with existing home features that they come into contact with. Many of the original flashing, gutters, and trim features of the home were damaged when the project was completed. Also, scaffolding that was installed at the rear of the home was not properly stabilized and supported which collapsed (in wind) and damaged an existing composite deck. Although, the roof looked good when it was done and there has not been any leaking issues or shingle loss in the past year. The "Would you hire again" question should have a "Maybe" option which I surely would select after this experience."
