Jay from Home Wise recommended a full replacement. After a lengthy discussion to try to understand why the disparity, I went with Jay and full replacement. "When choosing a contractor there are many considerations. Referrals, price, reviews about the company. The most important to me are, integrity, honesty and a fair price. Peter covered everything with his proposal. I first met Peter approximately 2015 or 2016 to inquire about a roof. He told me based on the age and type of shingles on my house I didn't need a new roof unless it was leaking. Fast forward to 2021, I called DWM for my roof replacement because of Peter's honesty. A new roof is a large expense, I am extremely satisfied with DWM, the quality of the roof and the workmanship of the team that installed my roof. They kept the work area neat, cleaned up afterwards and did an amazing job of picking up all nails so my puppies were safe. The communication from Jill at the office was perfect. "This team is amazing! It all began when we had those heavy rains at the end of July. Something told me to go into my attic and check things out. Sure enough, I discovered two leaks at the crown of the roof, and it was then I decided to make the call over to Fichtner, because I already knew these folks were amazing based on all of the positive reviews (and the work they had done on the house prior to me moving in). As the day of heavy rain went on, my leaks got worse. I took some photos and sent it over to one of the members (this was midnight), and they came back at 6:30 the next morning to make a temp repair...which had held up well (even considering that the storms just kept coming for a while). Several weeks later, I finally have an amazing new roof (and shed roof as well), and the neighbors love it. I couldn't be more happier, and now (for a long time) I won't have to worry about the roof. "After Hurricane Irene we discovered water in our attic and I thought we would be in need of serious roof repair or replacement.  We called Tomas Bros. based on a recommendation from a coworker.  Two very nice, very professional men came out and replaced the vent along the attic with something called a cobra vent, which they explained would not allow wind to push rain into the attic.  I was thrilled that we were not going to have to buy a new roof or do major repairs on this one.  The men were polite and courteous and punctual and I felt like we were treated well during what must have been a busy time for them after the hurricane (lots of folks nearby had damage to their homes).  We will definitely give them a call again if we need roof work in the future. <br />"

My roof was in bad shape which needed to have all the boards on the roof replaced. Michael worked with me in order to keep me under budget for this job and provide me with a complete brand new roof. Michael kept me in the loop with updates including pictures from beginning to end of the whole process. It was a painless project which Michael made sure that I was not stressed out on. Michael's team provided excellent service with keeping my yard clean from all debris and cleaned up my yard which was much better than any lawn service has every provided.
