"We hired Aaliyah Landscaping to address the overgrown bushes in front of our home, which had become an obstruction to accessing the front door, and we also needed access behind the bushes on either side to repair siding around the windows that tends to loosen during windy conditions. These bushes had deteriorated over the past several years, appearing half-dead and exhibiting signs of disease. Therefore they needed a massive cut, shaping and clipping removal. This was unto itself a big job, especially for one person, yet Abel handled it professionally and the final results are nothing short of astonishing. "They came first over for a quote and inspection of access to our back yard. I was advised that my cement walkway may be damaged by the weight of their equipment which was fine since I am planning on having it replaced. The day of, they arrived promptly around noon time with a large truck and a 6 man crew. They quickly began to work and nearly finished the job by sundown. Since it was 4 large trees, they had to come back in the morning to complete the task. They removed all debris and grinned the stumps."

They listened to what I needed and completed the work ahead of time! In fact, I had to find more work around the yard for them to do. He reviews all aspects of the job with you, gives you his professional opinion on how best to do the job, gives an estimate that is always a fair price, follows the work closely and ensures that an excellent job is done. His honesty and integrity are without parallel and his foremen and workers are superior in their performance. And you don’t have to personally monitor the job, Michael does that for you. T. DeVito & Sons installed our complex sprinkler system at our house and has maintained the system so that we have a perfect season of water supply to our lawn. They winterize the system every year, including suctioning out all the water. In the spring they restart the system checking every line, valve and sprinkler head and do immediate replacements where necessary. They then check the timer to ensure that the system meets the program required at your location. One year, they expertly removed overgrown roots that were affecting the system. They do our complete Lawn Care and Landscaping, Lawn and Yard Work, Lawn Irrigation, Lawn Fertilization and Treatment and Mulch and Topsoil addition. In particular they do: Spring and Fall cleanups, chemical additions including pH control, weed control, seeding (and when needed, and mowing and trimming on a regular basis. They cleanup completely so that our lawn is always immaculate. After a storm, they are easily available to perform an emergency cleanup. I strongly advise you to call them if you need any of the above services!"

"We have a locust tree in our backyard, the branches of which were so overgrown they were damaging roofing and storm windows on the house. I called Sunshine and Marcos came down the next day to inspect the tree. He advised trimming branches all around the house, pointing to 2 extremely large branches that needed removal, and also removing 4 dead pine trees against our backyard fence, the largest of which had its roots lifted out of the ground during superstorm Sandy and, as Marcos correctly pointed out, was leaning against the branches of the large locust tree. His crew came down the next day to do the job. For the most part they were clean and professional, however when our neighbor requested that one branch that was growing into his yard be removed, which I believed was one of the larger branches that Marcos had pointed out for removal, his worker stated that that branch was not in the job description and would cost extra to remove. When we asked how much extra, he said he didn't know, the guy that would know was working on the roof, and we never did get a price for that extra branch. Also, some other smaller branches closer to the other side of the house from the large branch I felt weren't trimmed far enough away from the house. All in all, I would describe the job as okay, the crew was clean and removed the worst offending branches, but it could have been a lot better. A message I left on the company's voicemail after the job was completed was never returned.

"It went well. Mr. Gallo looked at the condition of the retaining wall and said it wasn't something he wanted to work on. He said he was more of a plant maintenance and landscaping person. He gave me an idea of the kind of company I should hire. He was very helpful although he didn't perform any work.
