"Hello! My mother was very frustrated with her new dryer not drying properly. She hired a dryer repair man who advised her the vent was clogged. She reached out to "The Dryer Vent Guy" who sent out a technician named STEVEN. HE WAS AMAZING!!!! From start to finish, he was thorough, knowledgeable and courteous. His work was neat and clean. He even wore protective shoe booties so my mom's clean floor would not get dirty from the snow. He also sucked up the huge amount of debris he was able to remove from the vent. "They came to clean both my wood stove and my parents . We knew my parents was in bad shape and they recommended replacing it and gave us a quote. The man was very nice and professional. Then they came to clean my woodburning stove. He cleaned it, was very nice, but could not get one section out and told me mine needed replacing also and gave me a quote! I was planning on getting it replaced when a friend who has my exact same stove came over and took a look at it. He was able to clean it and the part the guy was trying to get out ( upper bricks) came out and we were able to clean the whole thing!! "Cliff telephoned to say what time they would arrive and was punctual. We reviewed the work to be performed by walking through the basement, garage, all hallways and both apartments in our high ranch home. They worked from upstairs to downstairs as a team to remove vent covers and scrubbing all vents and returns with the two large vacuum-like machines with long handle rottobrushes. After cleaning, they sanitized the system with an antimicrobial fog. They opened and resealed the ductwork in the basement. After completion, they showed us before and after photos. Theses gentlemen were personable and efficient - a pleasure to work with."

"I will no longer be a customer of Mohawk Heating. On November 1st a technician replaced my thermostat. A Honeywell T4 Pro was also the replacement thermostat for my home. All I have is a boiler, so the work consisted of removing two screws, disconnecting two wires, then attaching a new faceplate and reconnecting the two wires. Almost forgot, he put two batteries back in. The technician then went to the basement to make sure the boiler was running okay, took a quick look and recommended some work on the system. The whole process took about 45 minutes. Imagine how shocked I was to be told the total was $545.21!!! I knew the service call was $125, so I figured on the high side it would be about $275. What an expensive lesson learned on my part. How could anyone, in good conscience, charge such an extreme price for this kind of job. I do regret not following through with attempting to replace it myself. This was a very costly mistake for me."
