Hilario met with me and we agreed on a price that was better than two other contractors I had asked to quote the jobs. I was encouraged by the strong reviews that I found on Home Advisor, so I decided to go with him and I am very glad that I did. He did brick work on a retaining wall, a walkway, a pillar and a chimney. He installed a patio and a firepit. that is beautiful. I added on another project: demolish a shed and pour a foundation for the new shed, both jobs he handled well. He and his team were professional, hard-working and cleaned up after themselves daily. I would strongly recommend Hilario for any masonry work that you might need done. The finished product is beautiful."

"I have used Mason Works on a previous project in 2017 (new stone wall and front step repair) and was very happy with their work. This project was to replace driveway including matching previous stone wall, add granite curbing to right side and complete replacement of existing asphalt. Stone wall is great, granite curbing is great but does not fully match in size or color (they explained that this is typical when ordering granite) and driveway really is just OK. They use a more course asphalt mi than you'd typically see and they explained that it lasts longer. My issues with driveway: • Driveway not evenly smooth, quite a few rougher spots • Section on side of driveway that you can see it's not evenly rolled • They said to wait 5 days to park on it and I waited 3 weeks instead but there are several tire marks already from parking on it"

The wall came out straight, solid, and looks a lot better than what was there before. They also cleaned up the area pretty well once the job was finished. "Dimitri and his crew were very professsional. They arrived a half hour early and did a great a job painting the bathroom, two bedrooms and staining the trim around the windows. I also needed masonry repair work done on my front steps as well as prep work for installing a railing. They did a fantastic job completing the project. I was also impressed with the initiative Dimitri took to repair other minor related masonry issues he noticed without requesting an additional charge. "I had several contractors come look at the site and give an estimate. They all seemed competent and had good ratings from Angie's list. Each had a choice of materials that could be used that more or less fit the bill, but not exactly. Douglas definitely stood apart from the others. Not only did he suggest a paving stone that was exactly what I wanted, but he suggested modifying the design of the space to make it fit in better with the setting. We ended up coming up with space with a curved corner rather than a straight corner (which is what I originally proposed, and the other contractors were going to provide). It looks great!! I was originally concerned that the parking space would detract from the appearance of the property but it actually enhances it. I have gotten nothing but positive comments from family, friends and neighbors. Douglas's talent and training in design, his commitment to doing a good job and pleasing the customer, and his enthusiasm for his work make a difference!"
