"I signed the contract 10/23/19 with an expected pick up date by the end of the month. Heard on 10/30 that the transport had broken down and needed repairs. Talked to contact on 10/31 and reviewed alternative arrangements. Second transport option bailed out due to an emergency. Third option discussed. 11/05. I followed up and was told a driver was on the way. Pickup occurred 11/7 and delivery was 11/12. I paid extra for door to door service, but the transport could not navigate the residential streets, so pickup was in a mall parking lot. For the money paid, things could have gone more smoothly. Communication was okay, but given the starts and stops more wold have been better."

The process was made even simpler as you log on to a website and watch Steve make any changes you request and see how it will look. As a visual person, that helped me see my closet layout. Steve takes inventory of all your clothes, shoes, and accessories so everything went into my master closet and finally removed from the other closets in the house. "Bob is a friendly and easy going guy that was great to work with and reasonably priced. He painted the cabinet doors in the shop and modified them to fit my kitchen better so that the paint wouldn't get damabed when I open the doors. He spent a day and a half painting the cabinet faces, insalling the shop-painted doors, and the new microwave. I was able to leave all the cabinet contents in place while he worked so it was hardly any effort on my part. He completed the job quickly, he was clean, and the cabinets look great and the microwave is working great.  <br /> A couple weeks after he finished the cabinets I needed a couple bifold doors cut to size for another home project I was working on. I took them to Bob's shop and he took care of me right away.  <br /> I would definitely recommend Bob Stahl for any cabinet/carpentry type needs. <br />"

"Great, on both ends, both the packing in Virginia and the move-in in Massachusetts. As well as the initial visit from Dave (sorry, I do not remember his last name) to give us the quote. On both ends, we were kept informed every step of the way. We were told that the movers would be at our house in Virginia between 8:00 and 10:00 am and they were there at 7:59am. They went through the house with me to get an overview as to the move. They stored the goods for two weeks between closings. They were able to give us a great price on storage, which we appreciate the work Dave did in order for that to happen. He definitely went above and beyond. We got a call on Friday confirming that the move-in would be Sunday between 8:00 and 10:00. We received another call Saturday from Al, the driver to confirm the time on Sunday. We appreciate the call from Al, just to give us another level of assurance. Al gave me a call around 7:30 Sunday morning to tell me he was about twenty to thirty minutes away. Again, appreciate the call. He and his crew - Jay, Umberto, and Benny were extremely professional. It was a pretty big job, up a lot of stairs, but they did it without complaint. The job was done quickly, the crew was great, telling stories of past moves. They did a great job preparing the house (blankets on door frames, paper on floor, etc.), and the house was left in better shape than before they got there. It's been about a month, we found nothing damaged, nothing worse for wear during the storage (we were afraid of mildew on the clothing, but we followed all JK's suggestions to prevent it and it worked), and everything in excellent condition. We used JK ten years ago to move across town, and they did as great of a job up the East Coast. Would definitely use them again. Yes, they are move expensive then some of their competitors, but they own their own equipment, it is not a franchise, and you get what you paid for. You're trusting them to move your life across the town or across the country. This is something you don't want to cheap out on."

"Overall it was a pretty good experience as everything I wanted done, got done. Original talks with the “chat” function led me to purchasing a bunch of recommended items for my install. Once my full day electrician Dan had arrived, about 90 min passed the blocked time due to an additional service call he was scheduled for which had some issues, he immediately identified what I was informed to purchase was incorrect and got me on track and where we needed to be. He also mentioned my planned job would normally be a day and a half or two day event. This job was installing a sub panel in my shed to include running 180+ feet of thick 6/3 UF wire from the house panel to the shed. Providing dedicated circuits for my pool pump, French drain sump pump, and power for inside the shed to use for my tools and a shop light as well. I did help for the entire day and he really appreciated my hard work which made this a one day Job. I Couldn’t be happier with the work Dan performed and the Knowledge he has. Would have appreciated a little more accurate initial chat support so I didn’t have to make so many Lowe's trips, specifically the wire, which the correct wire was 4x the cost of the “suggested” wire. Final thoughts. If someone books a Full Day Electrician appointment, that assigned electrician, should not be taking service calls as he has a full day appointment scheduled. That’s poor Business planning and makes the electrician look bad if he’s not at the “blocked” call time. Dan made the event flat out awesome. Friendly, professional, and most of all a really hard worker. Super happy with the work he did and most of all, we got everything finished in one session like I planned for. Jason Nelson"

"I just want to say that this was not the first project that we had this company do. Our first project was my home and it was a total gut job and they were absolutely marvelous. On this new job there was a basement on this home and the only way to access tit was to go outside the side door and go down some cinder block stairs. The house had only 2 bedrooms and the only way that we could have entry to the basement was to add an addition and put the stairs inside the home. The job was a massive undertaking and the workers were knowledgeable and proficient in their areas of expertise. They were professional all the time. The lead foreman Doug was excellent. He was on the case and he spoke with me every day to let me know what was going to be done and who was going to be at the house. I wish there was some way to show you the before and after pictures of this home because the transformation is nothing short of astonishing. All of the staff at this company is a joy to work with and I would recommend them in a heart beat. As a matter of fact before the guys left today I informed them that I will be using them again very shortly for another project. They were open and up front about cost and were able to save me on may parts of the project without compromising the quality of the materials that they used. And I must say there is absolutely no shortage of quality of the material that they used. I can't thank them enough or give them a better review than what I have said.
