"Spencer4Hire did a great job. They completed the work on schedule and the quality of their work was exceptional. They installed rolled roofing about 1 ft past the end of the tile to prevent water from leaking back. The flashing they installed at the chimney and at an intersecting wall was very carefully installed and sealed. They replaced 2 sections of fascia board along with some rotted wood. After they painted the repairs (my paint) I couldn't tell where the repairs were made. They even set the flashing to direct water away from the corner where the rot started. I chose Spencer4Hire because they took the time to explain what they would do and gave me several options to choose from. During installation they kept me informed as to the timeline and any additional items needed. I would certainly choose them again if I needed roof repairs or replacement."

"George Stewart was well qualified excellent job roofing sealed and fixed"

"These individuals were remarkably swift and impressive; I would suggest them to anyone. I reached out on a Friday morning, and the owner arrived the same day to give my husband and me an estimate. The project included painting and fixing the exterior, plus replacing roof tiles harmed by the monsoons."

"I thought George and his crew did an excellent job in painting the house. In the beginning he said it would take 3-4 days and it came in at three. He told me in detail how he does his painting jobs and what I needed to do to prepare. He began with a complete washdown of the house. Then all windows and non painted surfaces were completely masked. Places where the stucco was pealing and cracked were repaired. There were places where the wood parts of the house were damaged, and these were patched and repaired . Several times he walked me thru the site and showed me his progress. At the end of the job we walked the perimeter of the house, and George showed me what he did and answered any questions that I had. Cleanup afterwards was thorough. It was a really good job. I don't know if this review is expected to cover the roofing job that George also did for me, so I'm going to discuss that also. Because of the circumstances of this house, we decided to do a patching job of the roof rather than a complete whole new roof. George determined that there were four areas requiring patches including patches to the subroofing wood. He said it would take a day, which it did. The crew removed the faulty subroof wood and replaced it with new wood. He had already painted the wood, with paint from the prior house painting job. The wood then was covered with the standard roofing materials. The rim that was removed that wraps over the facial wood was replaced. In one area a piece of the facial board had to be replaced and repainted. The whole roof was then painted with a sealant that should extend the life of the roof for several years. All in all an excellent job."

"Very fast service and John checked regularly to ensure a quality job. The roof repair and coating was done in one day and looks great. I would use them again in the future."

"Excellent customer service, follow through, and pricing! They did a beautiful job and left the site clean!!!! They have done work for me twice. They did tile roof, foam roof, and rolled roof. Trustworthy, hire THEM!"

"Walter and his team from Sunguard Custom Painting did a fantastic job on our home. They repaired our weather damaged stucco, primed, painted and made our house look beautiful! All of the employees we encountered were very friendly and professional and took strong attention to detail to ensure we were fully satisfied with the work they completed. They were very clean and didn't leave any mess for us to clean after, which is a big plus! It only took 2 days to fully complete the work, which we were very impressed with. I highly recommend Sunguard Custom Painting. I would definitely hire them again in the future."

"Strive Roofing is fantastic I would recommend them highly!"

"Mike is very considerate and did not to sell me on a new roof at this time. His understanding and assessment were appreciated. The cost was reasonable for the tile roof repair. He was determined that it was “done right” and completed within a week. Highly recommend his roofing company."

"When I came to Angie’s list to get a quote on the roof repair I received several calls from multiple contractors. Those that came out told me I needed to replace the entire underlayment on a roof that was less than 10 years old. Prices were $17-$20,000. when Desert Sun came out, they were upfront, honest, and refreshing. He told me I did not need to replace the entire underlayment and had at least three years left on it. For less than 1/8 of the price the other companies wanted to charge me. Then after all the work was done I asked how much would it have been to replace the underlayment for the entire roof and his price was still thousands less than the other companies. Now I have time to save over the next year because I will definitely be calling them back to do the full repair when the time comes."
