"Very professional and courteous! Received a phone call the same day and it was a weekend :) Spoke with Matt and set up a consultation. Received a quote for the total amount instead of a "ballpark figure" which I appreciate. Matt was the person who installed my new water heater, picked it up from Lowes for me so I didn't have to deal with that. Also fixed my leaking shower. Spoke with the gentleman at lowes when purchasing my water heater and told me they could install it. When I told him the price for the whole job he told me I got a great deal, the cost just to install the water heater would have been 35% more at lowes!! I am setting up another appointment for them to change out my other faucets AND my light fixture in the bathroom as I found out they also do electrical! One stop shopping at this place. I now have them permanently in my contacts for plumbing and electrical."

"We had a hot water tank that was leaking slowly. It was not an emergency but needed to be replaced before going on vacation in a week. Jack the owner and his associate are very professional, reliable, knowledgeable, honest Christian and very reasonable and fair. They got it done. I highly recommend Moretto Plumbing and Design. He even called the next day to make sure everything was good. You will not be disappointed."

"Far exceeded expectations. It's Plumbing is reliable and very professional at reasonable cost. They responded rapidly, referred someone to find the leak, and gave us the option to repair or replace. The estimates were detailed with pros and cons for each choice. We opted to replace due to having repaired a leak 8 months prior (different plumber) and didn't want to worry about even more later. We cannot recommend It's Plumbing HIGHLY enough, and we will never use another plumber. High integrity, reliability, honesty and are the qualities of the people and the work from the folks at It's Plumbing. From the office to the on-site plumber, they genuinely want to solve the customer's problem."

"I phoned J & J on 3/24/15 and we discussed my situation. He asked if I'd like the same day afternoon appointment or a morning appointment the following day. I chose the following day. On 3/25/15 he arrived promptly at 8 am and assessed the sink by diagnosing where the leak was, removing the parts associated with said leak and realized there was a seal missing when it was originally installed. The whole apparatus was corroded as well from years of water running through it. He was able to clean off all corrosion to see that I did not need to purchase a whole new attachment, all I needed was a seal. He left to the store to grab a seal, came back and it was all installed and fixed by 9 am. My sink looks better than new and works great. He was friendly, courteous, prompt, knowledgable and worked quickly. I have saved J & J Plumbing as my favorites on Angies List as we will use them again! <br />"

"We had to replace two hot water heaters in our older home with a tankless water heater. Installation was great! Raymond came back a few days later to install a Wifi enabled something (ugh, guys don't ask me what it is. I don't know) that allows us to view our water usage and temp on an app. When installing the item, there was a cable that didn't have all its wires correctly attached, so Raymond immediately ordered us a new one. Right after that happened, our brand new tankless water heater's motherboard gave out! Raymond called every plumber he knew in the area and found parts to get ours running that same night, and drove 45 minutes each way to go get them! The next week, he came back to put in parts for our water heater and took the borrowed parts back out. We could NOT be more thankful for Raymond. He took time after hours to take care of us, on multiple occasions! Not having hot water in the house with 4 kids wasn't an option, and he didn't even ask us to consider it. We love Raymond, my kids miss Raymond (but seriously), and we will be calling y'all anytime we have a plumbing issue."

"It went very well. It took them about 1/2 day longer than they anticipated to take the old unit out and install the new unit. They installed some new ductwork and secured some existing ductwork. They cleaned up any mess that there might have been. When it was inspected by the city, the inspector did not pass it the first time because he said that they had not installed a drip pan. We contacted Pasqual's office and they ordered the drip pan. They came out and installed the drip pan (no additional charge) and then it was passed by the city inspector. We are very happy with the unit, and feel good about the way it was installed. We would definitely recommend this company."

FAQs for plumbing installation for a remodel or addition projects in Goshen, AR

Adding bathroom plumbing to a detached garage starts with the basic line installation cost of $900 to $1,300. On top of this base expense, you'll need to budget for each fixture. A toilet costs  $250 to $550, sinks cost $150 to $800, and a shower or bathtub costs $400 to $1,900. The project will also require ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and possibly electrical work. Remember that these costs reflect only the plumbing aspects—additional construction, finishing, and permitting expenses will apply to complete a functional bathroom space.

While certain aspects of garage renovation might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, plumbing installation requires professional expertise. Connecting to water and sewer systems demands specialized knowledge and equipment, and improper installation can result in severe water damage, code violations, and potential health hazards. Most municipalities require permits for plumbing modifications, and these often stipulate that licensed professionals must perform work. Consider limiting your involvement to simpler tasks like painting or basic finishing work.

The timeframe for adding plumbing to a detached garage spans one to three days for the actual plumbing work. However, this represents only the active installation period. The complete project timeline must account for planning, obtaining permits (which can take weeks depending on your locality), coordinating multiple contractors if needed, and addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during installation. Weather conditions can also impact excavation and outdoor connection work.

Adding plumbing to a detached garage will likely increase your property taxes. Tax assessors consider plumbing an improvement that enhances property value and functionality. The specific tax impact varies by location and project scope. Converting a garage into living space with plumbing facilities can trigger significant reassessment in many jurisdictions. Before proceeding with your project, consult your local tax assessor's office to understand the potential tax implications and factor this ongoing expense into your decision-making process.
