"The crew arrived and Armando immediately came over to confirm the work desired.   He listened carefully but didn't hesitate to make suggestions and to explain his reasoning.  The crew was efficient and hard working.  They split into sections of the yard and achieved a great deal in 8 man hours.  When they were finished, Armando again came to the door to walk around with me to view their progress and to answer my questions.  I was pleased with this experience for many reasons:  1)  Armando contacted me immediately to get the job scheduled  2) his communications were frequent and informative   3) Unlike other companies I have used, he works alongside his crew so that he can guide the process with his knowledge of plants and landscaping -- no middle man between the client and the workers  4) I appreciated the comments he made.  For example, there were some trees and bushes that I asked him to remove that he suggested I keep.  He pruned them to show me how nice they could look. 5) Armando is a real go-getter and seems to enjoy his work. Overall is was a pleasant and professional experience.  So much so that I have decided to go with Earthview for my regular weekly lawn maintenance needs.

"Brett volunteered his time to help our kids'  school.  Anyway, he came over to look at our property and instantly had some great ideas, thoughts and suggestions.  He is extremely nice, friendly, and down-to-earth.  He listened to our thoughts, spent time canvasing and mapping the property, and then thoughtfully processed them into a design that he thought might work for us, inviting us to his office to look and possibly change some of the design if we wanted.  We were highly impressed with his responsiveness, his desire to make a design that we liked, his genuine nature, his easy-to-work-with-attitude, and his overall professionalism.  We're kicking ourselves that we didn't find him sooner when we had another landscape project that we hired out,  but if we decide we need help with our landscaping project in the end, he'll be the one we call. Highly recommend.

"Laura was very friendly and talkative.  Her crew worked hard, in hot weather, to do the work described above.  I had neglected the yard, so it was a lot of work, I know.  I'll never know whether it was market-value worth the $1900 I paid for it ($200 was the Angie's List coupon, so an additional $1700), as it's hard for me to calculate outside a by-the-hour pay rate, but the yard was certainly overgrown to a large extent and they did removed and haul A LOT of debris.  They were originally going to come over three or four days but were able to do the work in only two...the second day shorter than I expected.  I suppose this was more convenient, as I could set about starting the garden I had hoped to establish in a more inviting yard, but it did leave me wondering about the cost.

"I am a wanna be gardener but really don't know where to start.  I got a planting plan from a landscape designer with the idea that I could do it myself. I had 4 mature coniferous shrubs that I wanted removed and realized soon that the job was more than what I wanted to handle. I contacted Shannon Landscape & Construction and Brian Shannon came out within a week to look at my project. He gave me a verbal estimate of $1500 and said they could get to it this fall.  The next day I received the written proposal and scheduled it for the following week. The project included removing all old existing sod, removing old shrubs, trimming all other remaining shrubbery and trees (which included one maple and one ornamental cherry), clean up and haul away all debris, bring in 3 yards soil mix.  Prep the ground for the lawn and garden beds. Install approx 200 sq ft of sod. The estimate included all labor, material and equipment and estimated a 3 man crew for 7.5 hours.
    The crew arrived right on time and worked very quickly.  So quickly that they were done in about 4 hours - so I asked if they could do some yard clean up in the back.  Alex, the crew foreman called the office and got the go  ahead to do that and in another 1.5 hours had cleaned up and removed a lot of overgrown plant material.
     Everyone I spoke with at this company is very professional.  It was a pleasure doing business with them and I will definitely be using them again.

"They arrived on time and gave me a very competitive quote. That day he sprayed the weeds so that they would have a couple of days to die. Then in 3 days they came back and cleaned out all the old leaves, weeds including blackberries, and got down by my creek and cut down the weeds and shrubs down there. They cleaned up the driveway and along both sides of the house and when done they asked me if anything else needed to be done. I was quite satisfied. They charged $600 which is about the same amount that I've paid before for the cleaning although it's tough finding anyone who is willing to clean out my yard since it's not grass and is has some slopes to it. I am definitely going to hire them again."

"When we first contacted them, Mariano came to give us a quote the very next day. The quote beat his competitors by a long shot, and he was a very nice guy who had received great reviews on Angie's List before. The initial yard clean-up & barkdust went forward as scheduled. We were delighted with his crew's work and speed with which they got it all done. However, once we scheduled them for twice monthly upkeep thereafter, there were THREE occasions where they did not show up on the day or time scheduled to do the maintenance. Each time we had to call and Mariano had someone there to do the work the next day, yet it was a major inconvenience not having them show when they would say they would. Our family's schedule is too busy for this kind of unreliability. Therefore we will not be using their services again this summer and will be hiring another company, even if that means paying a bit more."
