He spent a long time replacing the springs but also reinforcing the doors and making sure they operated correctly. My motors are old and when they stop, I will use 911 Garage Doors to replace e them. "The replacement went fine. The work was professional and at the agreed time. I was pleased with that. My only issue was with the charges. I had found the mechanism online priced at $108 (with $13 shipping). It would have arrived after my desired time frame, so I expected the locksmith would have a local resource from which to purchase at a wholesale price in a more timely manner. I expected that price to be about $60; certainly less than $100. However, I was told the locksmith paid $179! This didn't seem reasonable. Also, I did not receive an itemized receipt, only a total. After expecting to pay perhaps $150, I was actually charged almost TWICE that. So although I was happy with the work, I was certainly not happy with the price."

"Chris did a wonderful job. Very neat and clean. Most of all the work he does is perfect. We had him caulk, repair crack in a wall and replace smoke detectors. When he went to replace the batteries in our smoke detectors, he noticed that they were old and not going to be effective because of their age. He went to Lowes to purchase us new ones but said they wanted too much money for them and suggested that we order them through Amazon. We got on Amazon together and he pointed out the ones we needed. They were one third of the cost of Lowes! Our neighbors have also used Chris and had nothing but kudos for all the jobs he's done for them. I highly recommend him!"
