"They are hard working ,reliable, efficient, and do excellent work. They live up to their name. They come and assess your project and give recommendations as to how to fix it best. They text you when they are coming or if there are any delays. Their work is very reasonable in cost compared to others. They replaced some sheetrock on my ceilings fixed cracks that were not done correctly by previous sheetrock people. They sanded off multiple layers of paint filled texture on my ceiling and skim coated it flat. They also retaped where my ceiling meets the wall. They also painted the ceiling. They allowed me to do some of the prep work to save some money. They also offer me advice on my painting. They are a company that works with you and for you. They finisheed my project in a week and came back to fill any little pits after I primed it and to check their work. I would recommend them and hire them again!"

"Ecolecuá offers a unique collaborative approach with her clients. On our project, she struck the perfect balance; she listened to our ideas and feedback but very much maintained her role as the creative expert, making us feel comfortable the entire time. I would absolutely recommend Ecolecuá with no hesitation. With all she has done, she is going to find the right approach for just about any client. Aileen Dominguez Dentist, Boston, Massachusetts"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Grand Forks, ND

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
