"It went very well considering it was a remodel, which by the nature of the work will have unexpected issues and delays that occur. I also modified what I wanted and added a few more chores to the job. Tom and the crew were very accommodating to preform the extra work which were in some cases time consuming but did enhance the overall result. The fence took way too long but the construction ran into all sorts of problems that couldn't be anticipated--old irrigation lines and way too many old tree roots--totally not their fault. The water feature is fabulous, really love how it turned out. I couldn't visualize what it would look like and how it would be constructed and was totally pleased with the result. The additional sandstone patios utilizing my old sandstone flagstone turned out really great--look much better than the old patios! All of the plantings have been in for a month now and so far, so good. <br /> I think the most important aspect of PDL is the quality of Tom's design work and his commitment to getting the job done right so that the client is pleased. I also cannot rave enough about Jared, his site supervisor, whose attention to detail was amazing. If something didn't go right, it got fixed. And with any project like this something will go wrong, it is a given. It is how it gets fixed that is important and whether one has to fight to get it done right--with PDL there was none of that. I cannot stress that enough. <br />"
