We have complete trust in their excellent work, meticulous application, and - critical, we think - superior knowledge of roofing materials and techniques. Before the silicone application, Salgau took pains to repair previous roofers' "repairs." Especially for slate, flat, or historic roofs, Salgau is first-rate. They have earned their excellent reputation."

"One of the best home services we've had in a long time! First, we got three quotes, but Alex of Roszman was the only person who inspected our roof from the inside as well as outside. He advised us that there were no leaks inside, and that honestly, we could go another year or two without replacement. His quote was almost exactly equal to one almost as highly-rated competitor. (The third was insanely high!) We went ahead with Roszman, and got on the schedule. The crew came out and worked very fast and efficiently, but did a really nice job of protecting our new gutters, and cleaning up. One and a half days later they were done and our roof looks beautiful. One hiccup was that one of our downspout extensions was lost in the process, but Alex ordered a new one and came out and installed it in two days. A great job and experience all around!"

"Flawless execution. At the appointed time, the shingle truck showed up, followed by the dumpster. At the same time, the Crew Leader, Rick and his team started assembling. Rick introduced himself and explained what was going to happen and reassured me that a leak issue I had would be taken care of. Once they decided on a plan of action, they attacked the roof and had the job done in two and a half days, with a day break in the middle due to rain. The rain was not an issue as the roof was done in sections, watertight, and protected at all times. As a fairly old roof, the team replaced 13 sheets of plywood and rebuilt a saddle near the chimney which had been constructed incorrectly and was the source of a leak we had. Rick documented these issues with photographs and communicated them to me prior to repair. In doing so, any additional cost above the original estimate was expected, and reasonable. At the end of work each day, the site was cleaned, debris removed, tools stowed and ready for the next day. In speaking with the crew, I was impressed with their enthusiasm, pride in their work and professionalism. Finally, while most of us can find more pleasant things to spend a large chunk of money on, I feel the value we received was worth the price. This clearly begins with Mike, the owner. From my first conversation with him through completion, Mike was responsive, patient, knowledgeable, forthcoming and transparent regarding the service he provides. Given that, his high rate of accepted estimates (estimates done seamlessly with no meetings or inconvenience, by satellite technology, I might add), is no surprise. Put simply, he's easy to get hold of, easy to talk to, and I am confident that when he says call him anytime, they stand behind their work - he means it. As a result, I would use 4 Guys again, and will recommend them to any who ask."

"I recently sought help from Dr. Flue to repair a gap that had formed where mortar around my chimney had apparently eroded over time. From first contact with their office, to the final visit and completion of the work, my experience with Dr. Flue’s staff was exceptional… They took time to understand the issue and provide me a simple cost estimate; scheduled a time to come out and shot me a reminder a couple days ahead of the visit; then showed up on time and prepared. The copper flashing was pulling away from around my chimney and looked like it was in need of repair or replacement. I had previously worked with another well reviewed roofing company on Angie's List that missed my scheduled appointment to examine my chimney flashing. So I was very pleased when Andrew from Gunner showed up exactly when promised, and I was quite fascinated with his use of a drone to take precise aerial photographs of the work to be performed from all angles - a rather tech savvy approach. Gunner provided a detailed estimate within hours, that was only 1/3 the cost of the estimate I ultimately received from that other roofer. Gunner Roofing completed the work on time, and did a very satisfactory job. This was a relatively modest project, but based on my experience, I hope to use Gunner Roofing when it comes time to redo my entire roof."

"The appraisal, done by Jeff, was super, he explained everything that was to be done to repair our leaky room, 5 leaks in different rooms, 4 in living room 1 in dining room. A 4 man crew did all of the work in a day and a half. They went BEYOND great. They repaired and replaced a section that I totally forgot about, a leaky wall.
