"Juan was great! He did a limestone tile fireplace surround for our indoor-outdoor fireplace and it turned out fantastic! He even did a little drywall touchup, painted, and reinstalled the wood trim so it was really easy on us. Juan was prompt, completed the quicker than promised, he left our house clean and the job was 100% complete. We will certainly hire him again for our next project and highly recommend him to anyone looking for top quality work and great service!"

"Camilo's Painting did a fantastic job staining the exterior or our mountain home in Breckenridge. I talked to them on the phone and they were able to provide a quote the same day. I decided to use their service and they were able to get started right away. My contact, Juan, sent photos while the project was underway and communicated everything clearly. The job was completed within just a few days and the house looks brand-new. I would highly recommend Camilo's Painting!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Granite, CO

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
