"Elias Contruction provided a detailed estimate after inspecting the roof and making some qualified recommendations. The project required a few change orders that were not clarified in writing. I would recommend hiring Elias if you get changes in writing. They cleaned up pretty well although they missed a few things due to finishing in the dark. Overall satisfied with the job and cost was 60% of other bids due to sheathing adjustment."

"We partnered with EA painting for a complete exterior painting of our Sammamish home. Vadim was the first person we interacted with to obtain an estimate. From the very beginning, Vadim set himself apart from the rest of the bidders by his preparedness, use of technology, and frequent communication with us about that project. Most importantly, the bid was very competitive, and they had the reviews to back them up. After agreeing on a statement of work, we were introtuced to Slavic who helped us schedule all the activities and coordinate paint colors, etc. He also was very patient in working with our not so expedient HOA approval. Despite the HOA delay, Slavic was still able to put us on the schedule despite a very busy spring and summer schedule. Finally, the actual painters who worked on our home were Lucy and Carlos. They did a fantastic job painting the exterior of our home, and I would highly recommend them to anyone working with EA in the future. Their attention to detail, daily communication, schedule flexibility, and willingness to accommodate our special requests totally exceeded our expectations. We have a very unique home with complex architecture and a certain character that requires a lot of attention to small details in order for the job to be done right. Lucy and Carlos did exactly that, and more, and we are extremely grateful for their exptertise and craft. "This was just a very mixed experience. The owner was very responsive, very professional and very nice. We agreed on a price and date. The person in charge of the job was also very professional and very nice when we met to discuss details. I also liked both paint crews that worked in my house. However, when the job was over, I called about paint along the edges of my kitchen cabinets and about a spot in my bathroom that was not done well. The person who came to look at it repaired the spot in the bathroom and said that the kitchen cabinets needed to be caulked and then the person in charge of the job called me to say that they don't do caulking. Well, it was not caulking, it was paint on my cabinets. I have now noticed paint on the woodwork in the rest of the kitchen and in the upstairs hallway. I finally talked to the owner who said that they would come out to fix it, but I did not have time to schedule it at that time.There was also a misunderstanding about painting the woodwork in the living room. I assumed that they would and they didn't. That may have been my being new to hiring people to take care of my house, but they were not very nice when I called about it. Although someone did come and do the trim for free, but left some paint on the wood floor. Then there were just things that happen. I didn't check and the refrigerator ended up being unplugged for 3 days. There is a small dent in my bannister. There is a mark on my new kitchen floor from the refrigerator being moved. Generally they were so nice that I really wanted to be able to give a good recommendation. From the other reviews, my experience seems to have been an anomaly.
