"Even though I told him that I was a renter and my landlord would not be interested in any sort of major upgrade the contractor's only suggestion was that I do $2000+ of insulation work. <br />To me that was a ridiculous suggestion for someone who didn't even own the place. <br />He was polite and punctual, but I guess couldn't be bothered with someone who might be able to spend only a few hundred dollars at most. I would have appreciated some ideas about some diy things that I could have done myself as I would have been the one paying for any improvements.
