"We had a patio installed in our backyard. We met Bill from Sharper Cut at a home improvement show in Upper Marlboro. He was very professional from the beginning and scheduled a follow up meeting for us to come out and meet with him on that day. Before we had the meeting, he came out to the property to take pictures and see the layout. We had previously had a drawing which we sent him ahead of time. When we met with him, he had prepared several different options for a patio, including landscape. He listened intently to what we wanted and implemented it, including the seating wall, pillars and lights. He was very patient, showed the designs, modified them based on our questions and requests, and explained things very clearly. When there was a delay with a stone that we originally chose for the patio, he had us choose another stone to our liking, without making any adjustments to the price. The crew that did the work, showed up timely and were extremely professional. They would have been completed on time but got delayed because of rain storms that soaked the yard. However, as soon as it dried up they came out and finished the project. We are extremely pleased with the patio and all of our neighbors that come and see it, absolutely love it. I have recommended him to several of my neighbors and would encourage anyone looking for quality work to be done for them to consider Sharper Cut. They are awesome!!!!"

They proposed an excellent selection of plants and a nice design for both the front and backyards, taking into account both the terrain, our preferences and budget. They were punctual and got the job done in a timely manner. They warranty their landscape plants for one year, and a large shrub in the backyard died over the winter and required replacing. They replaced the shrub, though it took several emails to get that done."

"My experience with Earth Friendly Service was a positive one. My husband and I recently purchased a house that needed some TLC. I reached out to EFS and then responded immediately. Within a few days Steve and Phil were out at my house to see what repairs were needed and to give an estimate. They were pleasant and knowledgeable. I received a couple other quotes but EFS was most reasonable as far as a balance of price and timeline for completion. We set a date to start and when they began the work, it was completed within a week. Steph was great. Detail oriented. Asked questions of my desires when there was uncertainty. Wayne, let his work speak for itself. Phil went above and beyond doing other minor repairs that he noticed as he went along and giving tips to us as new home owners. Steve dropped by to make sure things were running smoothly and on schedule. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the work that was performed by EFS and plan to have them back soon for some more projects."

"We could not be happier with the job Stoneman Construction and Landscaping did for us and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to install a patio, retaining wall, brick walkways, or brick stairs. Let us start by saying that we are very particular people and we are SO pleased with the work Stoneman has done for us. And to make it even more exciting, we did not know exactly what we wanted when requesting for quotes. In general, we wanted brick walkways connecting our front door to the sidewalk and to our driveway, a planter box in our front yard, and a patio in our side and back yards. But as far as design - we were at a loss. Alberto, Evelyn, and their team took our limited knowledge and easily filled in the gaps. The mid-range of three quotes we got, Stoneman's Alberto and Evelyn put us immediately at ease. He had a catalogue handy for us to see the types of pavers he recommended. As we did more research, we sent photos of a herringbone brick pattern for the walkways, patio/retaining wall styles, and timber boxes to finalize our contract. Evelyn always responded very quickly to our emails. Alberto gave us plenty of notice that we would need to wait about a month or so to get started. When it was time to begin construction, Alberto showed up with our photos in hand, and the Stoneman team was efficient and professional. It was a huge project with lots of moving pieces and they finished 95% of it in 5 days. At one point we didn't love the width of a step and asked for it to be widened. The widened step was done within a couple of hours and looks perfect. We had a few punch list items for them to come back and take care of, which they did timely with no need for followup. After we'd done the final walkthrough, told them how much we'd love it, and paid the final installment, we noticed a small gap after some dirt had settled. Alberto came back himself to make it right. Simply put, Stoneman delivered above and beyond what we expected. Alberto and his team patiently worked with our requests within reason. "I've used Premium for over a decade, basically for every major project in my yard. My first time contacting was based on a referral from a trusted friend back in early 2006. My wife and I were set to hold a wedding reception at our home and our back lawn was an absolute mess- huge mounds of dirt, buried debris, deep pitting and weeds galore. On short notice (our fault), Mark and his team were able to completely transform the yard, regrading and redistributing earth, adding a massive retaining wall, and laying sod before the big day. We've received dozens if not hundreds of compliments on our yard! We have subsequently used Premium to repair backhoe damage from a water company repair in our front yard (two separate times!) and again when a roofing contractor ran his dumptruck through our fence and got it stuck in our wet back lawn. They even redid our fence for us! Premium has left the yard looking better than ever each time they've been here. When I gave up on chemically killing a problematic locust stump, Premium knocked it out with a giant grinder and it never came back. I wish every company I deal with could perform as well as these guys! Zero complaints."
