"I had a flagstone patio that was sinking and uneven due to subsidence. The company removed all the stones, rebuilt the base with a proper slope away from the house, and reinstalled the stones. The price was fair (I had some higher estimates and some lower) and the quality of work was excellent with a good attention to detail. I most appreciated that Lazaro offered a vision for a better patio. My original request was to just replace the stones the way they were, but he made recommendations on how to improve the patio (with the same amount of stones) that led to a much better final project."

Best Landscaping did a phenomenal job with the design, planning, and installation of our patio, as well as a drainage system to stop flooding in our backyard. The contractors always showed up on time, and left the job site clean at the end of the day. From the start of the project, everything went very smoothly. I was given a very competitive estimate, and the company was always quick to respond when I had questions or concerns. The owner, Abel, was wonderful. He called and checked in often with the builders, and made sure things were going smoothly. Edged and cleared out all of our beds, spread 10 yards of mulch, and rebuilt a 70 yard long french drain. Our neighbors commented "It's looks like something you see in a magazine." We agree! We were very happy with the end result.  One price factor that seemed high to us was the cost to paint the top of the pole a bright yellow (to caution drivers turning into the alley) - it was approx. $150.  We went with it at the time, but in hindsight that was too much - we could very easily have just painted it ourselves at a SIGNIFICANTLY lower price point, and that's a job we could have easily handled ourselves. We also were concerned when they first arrived to do the repairs - the worker essentially said "tell me what we're doing" (and I was happy to walk him through it - but it seemed like there had been no communication about what the job was).  The worker also was pointing to locations to install the pole that made no sense (e.g., not even close to the corner point that had been crashed), so we put in a call to the main office immediately to make sure they had communicated the job.  Happily I was home (even though I had been told I didn't need to be).  Everything worked out in the end, but it did give me pause.  Otherwise, they were prompt in returning our calls, scheduling the repairs, etc., we were comfortable with the overall price and the quality of the job.  We would use them again for future fence and similar work.
