"Jose and his crew installed a~360 sq. ft. patio using Nicolock pavers and contrasting charcoal border pavers in 2.5 days. Outstanding job. When I asked them about using edging to prevent the pavers from shifting, I was told that he does not use edging. Instead the perimeter is first installed as retaining wall blocks set in mortar! After the perimeter is set, the site is then excavated, compacted, covered with weed suppressing fabric. The fabric is then covered with crushed stone layer, compacted and sand is then laid on top, compacted and leveled and properly graded. I chose the herringbone design shown in their logo and very happy with the choice. The border pavers are laid on top of the retaining wall blocks and are "glued" to them using mortar/liquid cement. After the border pavers had set, the crew applied polymer sand to fill in the gaps between pavers. This "grouting" was done twice. The final product is solid as a rock and not going anywhere! VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK. Jose Espinal's company is insured and bonded, so hire them for your project and be worry free."

"I had a flagstone patio that was sinking and uneven due to subsidence. The company removed all the stones, rebuilt the base with a proper slope away from the house, and reinstalled the stones. The price was fair (I had some higher estimates and some lower) and the quality of work was excellent with a good attention to detail. I most appreciated that Lazaro offered a vision for a better patio. My original request was to just replace the stones the way they were, but he made recommendations on how to improve the patio (with the same amount of stones) that led to a much better final project."

Best Landscaping did a phenomenal job with the design, planning, and installation of our patio, as well as a drainage system to stop flooding in our backyard. He called and checked in often with the builders, and made sure things were going smoothly. "Wonderful experience!! This is the second time we have used Maryland Decking and Kyle Funk as our salesperson; they came in on budget for our project and in the time frame that we needed. Kyle is great, but we had a couple questions regarding the placement during installation, so he showed up day of installation with shovel in hand. They want things to be as right as we did, which is refreshing. GREAT customer service! The project consisted of extended a patio that we had done by them a few years ago, you would never know that it wasn’t original, blends perfectly and the crew couldn’t have been better, they worked hard and when we asked a question they stopped to listen and then gave us the answer without being annoyed. Left the site neat and clean too. Hard to find good workers, with good customer service while staying in budget and on time with a great salesperson on top of it! "Mr. Lemus has an excellent crew that gets right to work. We had 10 yards of mulch and three yards of Leafgrow delivered that morning and by the end of the day our flower beds were all edged and mulched, the lawn was aerated and has a top "dressing" of three yards of Leafgrow and the place looks fantastic. This was a long day for these guys -- finished up at about 6PM but wow I was super impressed. Mr. Lemus is friendly and very accommodating. His crew is polite and very respectful -- always yes, sir or yes ma'am. Really, I'd recommend them to anyone. The name says it all -- quality work at reasonable prices. Love these guys!"
