"My best to Sara’s Landscaping - Jose and his team! This was a difficult job as our property was overgrown! Jose started by trimming branches and cutting two large trees back from the roof and away from the house. Next, we had a large area covered in overgrown shrubbery/weeds and other small trees on one side of the property. Jose and his team removed everything and landscaped with new mulch, plants, and shrubs.....and now that area looks beautiful! They also removed 10 large dead and or dying shrubs from the front of the house and replaced with new mulch and beautiful Boxwoods. Additionally, he trimmed multiple overgrown Barberry and Burning Bush shrubs to a more appropriate size, and then weeded and mulched in that area as well. Lastly, a new drainage system was installed (including digging the drainage ditch) to carry water away from the house that gets pumped out via sump-pump and from the rain gutters. Overall, we are extremely pleased! Jose came with many solutions for this very difficulty job and completed the work quickly! The price was very competitive! We highly recommend Sara’s Landscaping!!!! Thank you :-))"

"This is the second time I have used Stone Craft. The first time was for installing flashing around my chimney after I had a new roof put on. The second time was for pointing and waterproofing. Both jobs were done effectively and professionally. Stonecraft is a excellent company."

"We first came to Dan Erb looking to improve the look of our front yard. In addition to surveying the yard, Dan spent time talking with us to learn more about our tastes and what we were looking for. The resulting design was far better than anything we had imagined. Dan's 3-phase design consisted of an enlarged and resurfaced stone driveway, stone steps leading down to a hardscape patio/fire pit area (Belgard pavers) and best of all, a magnificent three tier waterfall that weaves in between the trees and into a waterless pond. The area was then finished off with Rhododendrons, decorative ferns, Lenten roses and several other plants to give it a beautiful, natural woodsy look we love. <br /> Once the project was underway, Dan and his team worked hard and stuck to their schedule, putting in a full day's work each day until the project was completed. While the number of trees in the yard made it difficult to bring in the big earth-moving machines required to complete the project, they took care in navigating the machines so as not to damage the surrounding area. You can tell by the way they worked that they're all highly skilled, experienced professionals that are passionate about their craft. <br /> Thanks to Dan and his team, what was once a drab, ordinary front yard is now one that's truly fit for Better Homes and Garden's magazine. No hyperbole. We've already had several neighbors stop and comment on how beautiful it is (not to mention all the cars that slow to a crawl and check it out when they drive by). <br /> We couldn't be happier with the results or more strongly recommend Dan Erb and his team. The creativity and execution of the design could not have been any better. If you're looking for a truly great landscaper, give Dan a call. <br />"

"<strong>useWe were extremely pleased with how friendly everyone was.  No questions.  No complications.  Two gentlemen showed up and asked where the debris was and they immediately jumped in!  They loaded up the truck and drove off with a smile.  It was the easiest part of remodeling our new home.  Thank you, FADE!</strong> <br />"

"Great job installing an underground propane tank in a difficult area. Most important was the critical timing and coordination with the gas company. Showed up when he said he would did the job in a timely manner. He answers your texts in seconds and follows up. By far the best price."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Greentown, PA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
