Their repair team out the following Thursday with a new vent, shingles, and repair items and performed the repair within an hour. Owner Tom P came out and walked through our needs with us, and helped us make decisions where we were unsure and gave us a detailed estimate within a couple days (including some great visuals that really helped my wife, who isn't a particularly visual thinker). In hindsight, we couldn't have been more right. In 20+ years as a homeowner, JD Hostetter stands out as clearly the best experience we've had contracting for work on our home. This was a very large job, and we'll be living with the results for 30+ years, so feeling so confident in the results is a huge plus for us. We truly could not imagine a better experience, or recommend a contractor more highly than JDH. From beginning to end, no surprises whatsoever. We had storm damage that caused us to have a portion of our roof replaced AND siding and downspouts replaced. Ryan sat with me while I contacted the insurance company and helped me through the process. He and the team handled a lot of the back and forth with the insurance company and the mortgage company.
