"Jeff Goldman is to home patios as Pavarotti is to opera. He is an artist that is unique in this industry. In need of a new deck, I called three different contractors. One never returned my call. One came out and showed me what I considered to be inferior materials for the project. The last contractor to come out was Jeff. Not only was he on time, but he came prepared. Samples of nearly component that go into a patio cover. Prices. Ideas: originally, we were going to just replace the deck. But Jeff suggested another way to go, that would in effect increase the utility of the downstairs patio. Great idea. And great execution, now that it is built. Jeff?s crew is polite, and they leave a clean worksite at the end of the day. Jeff is involved in every stage of the process, and we had a final ?walk-through inspection? prior to final payment. Jeff knows this business thoroughly (it is a family business), and it is clear that he enjoys what he does. He has a showroom in Tustin that is worth going to for ideas. "We interviewed a number of landscapers prior to meeting with Gwyny, the owner of Bottoms Up Gardens.  However, none of the other landscapers quite matched Gwyny?s knowledge and level of expertise for creating a drought-free landscape.  Once we agreed to pursue with her services, Gwyny set up a date for service.  Gwyny and her entire crew arrived promptly at 8 a.m. (the agreed upon time), and went right to work. Although there was some noise with the rototiller, there was almost no sound from the backyard once it was turned off??as each member of the crew quietly worked in harmony to complete the project.  Before leaving, the crew cleaned off every speck of dirt from our driveway.
All in all, Bottoms Ups performed a superb job with our landscape!

"While they were up there cleaning the gutters they told me about the deterioration of all the sealants on the air vents, the chimney and exhaust fans on the roof. They took pictures and showed me and I had them redo all the sealants. I have a feeling that that was a smart way for them to get some more work (most people aren't aware of the damage the Ca sun can do). It was the owner of the company and his son that did all the work and they were clean, pleasant and professional. When the 1st rains came after the work was done I suddenly remembered a small leak we had had in our bathroom and IT WAS NO LONGER THERE!! I was very happy with the work they did and would definitely recommend using them."

"After shopping several companies, we chose Horizon Construction and Remodeling for our home improvement project, which was to enlarge and update our kitchen and main bathroom. In addition, we converted all of our flooring to vinyl. We are extremely happy with the service, responsiveness, dependability, and the results Horizon provided. David Eskin was our project manager. David became a consultant and friend during the process. He proved to be patient and honest when we encountered an issue with the granite installation for our kitchen. We upgraded our material to a beautiful and unique Brazilian granite for our kitchen counter. Our initial granite slab cracked 3 feet across the width of the counter 2 days after installation. David and his crew reviewed the issue and, without hesitation or argument, removed the cracked granite and replaced it with a new slab at their cost. Although this experience was extremely stressful for all, the integrity displayed by David and Horizon was stellar and unique in the construction industry. Contractors are easy to find, but an honest and dependable one is rare in our opinion. On this experience alone, we would recommend Horizon Construction and Remodeling without reservation. They made it right. All construction is stressful and we lived in our house during the remodel. This project was our first in this home, but our fourth major reconstruction in our 45 years of marriage. Horizon was by far the best remodel experience!"
