"Rick from Branik Construction contacted me within 10 minutes of posting on Angi that I was looking for someone to paint my popcorn ceiling in my condo. He called about 8 p.m. on a Thursday night and asked about the project and stated that he would send an estimate when he arrived home as he was driving while speaking with me. Within 2 hours an estimate arrived via email. The estimate was thorough and explanatory. I had a few contractors coming out on Friday to give me estimates. I called him Saturday mid morning and spoke with him about the job. I accepted the bid via the Saturday call. Rick told me they had a delay with another job as their cabinets that were to be installed had not yet arrived and they could start the project on Monday. (3Days from the initial quote). Branik Construction did in fact start the project on Monday. Keith and his son arrived on time and finished the job by Wednesday afternoon. Chris took 1955 dark-paneled wood interior and neglected exterior of 3 BR house I purchased & literally transformed into an 5 star Airbnb. This involved widening kitchen doorway, kitchen window, installing 8’ granite piece transformed into a usable bar area, adding flooring to a laundry room, installing blinds, electronic door locks,etc. It is evident that Chris takes great pride in his work with a discriminating- eye for detail. "Contractor James had injured his tendon in his finger on left hand two days before my job was scheduled. Left arm was totally wrapped up. He hired help, went with my job on schedule. Job took a little longer than usual (understandably so!). He worked so hard one handed. Even though it took a little longer, I am completely satisfied with the job. Work is excellent. He went out of his way to help with little things that weren’t his problem, like toilet hose that wasn’t working properly after hook up, etc. that was due to normal wear and tear on my part. I am a completely satisfied customer. Would recommend James all the way. Also, installation quote is very reasonable. Could not find a better floor contractor!! "
