"The crew was extremely careful in removing the old windows and installing new ones. They took great care to avoid damaging shrubs under windows outdoors and cleaned up thoroughly indoors. The windows were custom-built by Jeld-Wen and they fit perfectly and look good. The historic appearance of the house's exterior has been preserved and the windows look much better than those they replaced. These windows are a viable alternative to Pella windows which are more expensive.
Only minor complaints: The installation period was drawn out a bit longer than we'd expected (10 days rather than 2), partly because of weather. The installers broke the cover on an outdoor security light during their work and did not offer to replace it.
