"Had a retaining wall extending away from our house with a defective brick cap with failing masonry and bricks falling away left and right. We also had several spots on our brick house where the brick either separated or noticeable masonry cracks were developing. Of the two contractors I considered, Pete came by and took his time to understand the issues, match mortar and to propose long-term fixes (the first contractor just looked over photos and planned to repair what was a poor design). During the job, he gave expert advice on what areas to keep an eye on moving forward (i.e. spots where the home brickwork design could be a problem later). He also noticed a neighbor's brick chimney was actually leaning by 5-10 degrees and advised her to think hard about a repair in the near future, noting an expensive repair was far better than a collapsed chimney. In my case, he removed the existing bricks from the top of the retaining wall, preserved the vast majority of them (removed the attached mortar), poured underneath a new concrete base and reinstalled the brickwork in a way that apart from the mortar (lighter white, but essentially identically to existing) was really hard to distinguish from the rest of the house. He also removed / repaired mortar around multiple cracks around the house. And in one tricky area, he removed the outer half of several bricks (which separated on their own) and cut bricks to replace and re-mortar in a way that was again hard to distinguish from the surrounding brickwork. This was a 2 day job for Pete to complete. While the job was a little expensive, it was well worth the investment to make sure that the repairs would fully reestablish the harmony and attractiveness of our exterior brickwork. I am honestly a DIY kind of homeowner who really dislikes bringing in contractors, but there is no way that I could have done this on my own, at least not without leaving behind a series of eyesores... So if you care about your brickwork's useful life and appearance, or you have a complicated repair job, I highly recommend Pete."

"Rickey and the boys have done it again! I have used them several times and will continue to do so. They did a complete gut and remodel of my kitchen, den and laundry room. Quote was pretty accurate other than some things I decided to do more upgrades choices for. They stayed on schedule and cleaned up everyday any mess left behind. Everyone that RNR uses are great (I have used the plumber several times for other jobs at another property). The remodel required taking down a wall, doing floors in 2 rooms, cabinets backsplash, a complete gut. At the end I had a list of a few things that I wanted fixed and they were done immediately. I love the guys at RNR and will continue to use them!"

"I contacted Horton Remodeling before moving into a new house we just bought. We wanted a solution to convert a den into a room to be used as office. He came on time at the scheduled appointment and discussed very professionally the options for new office. We had ideas prior to Horton Remodeling coming but John improved our ideas and even saved us $300! We decided to also have him put a vent in the master bathroom (he installed a vent with integrated light), install the garbage disposal and redo all handles in the kitchen, office and bathroom. <br /> John started working prior to us moving to Savannah, we left the key in the mailbox and by the time we arrived in Savannah everything was done perfectly. Throughout the work John sent many pictures to keep us up to date of the progress. <br /> We really felt very well taken care of. Each time the contractors came in the house to perform work they left the house absolutely clean! You would not have been able to see that someone was there to perform work! "<p>We were awakened at 3 AM with water dripping on the bed.  We found the problem in the attic dripping from a skylight. The next morning I called RPI and within 2 hours a repairman (JJ) came to the house, He plugged some nail holes on the roof with silicone to stop the dripping. He took pictures of the skylight on the roof and said the entire skylight needed to be properly sealed. The residential supervisor would call me to give an estimate of the total cost.</p> <p> Eric (Residential Supervisor) called me two days later with the estimate, but we were out of town for a week. When I called him back we agreed to do the work and he would get it on the schedule within a week or ten days. He called me the next day and said they had a cancellation of a different project that day and could they come by and fix it that afternoon. They showed up at 1 PM right on time, and finished the project that afternoon. I was quite pleased with how quickly and efficiently the problem was fixed. Both Eric and JJ were very knowledgeable and polite. They also got the project fixed quickly--much faster than I expected! JJ also made an inspection of the entire roof</p> <p>I highly recommend this company for home repairs. It turns out they also did work for the previous owners when a branch from a tree punctured the roof.</p> <br />"
