Hands-down the best by far has been Willie Ratliff and his company All Things New LLC, recently converting a garage to an office / studio. He, his crew, and all subcontractors did exceptional work, clearly enjoying doing a good job and taking pride in it. He and all of his crew were professional, personable, and easy to have around, and the problems that arise in any project were handled quickly and gracefully. When the work started, they were on it five days a week, showing up punctually and staying with it through the day: no other jobs interfered. Then they cleaned up really well every day.
