"TJ was a great electrician to work with. He’s punctual and professional with affordable prices. He’s my go to guy for electrical issues and he even helped with troubleshooting my solar panels issue when another company messed up my install from two years ago. I didnt even know it but he caught it and fixed it. Super impressed."

"Everyone I interacted with at New Electric was friendly and professional. Robert and his colleague arrived on time, conferred with me on how best to execute the project, and got to work. The final result, a 240 volt line for an electric vehicle charger, turned out better than I had anticipated. I will call on New Electric for any electric work I may need in the future and encourage others to rely on this company for their electrical needs."

"My experience was great. They were so nice and when they showed up they verified what needed to be done and completed it in a timely manner. I took about 3 hours. Other companies that I looked into required other cost that would be needed but this company had very skilled electricians that didn’t need to do what the other companies had to do regarding damage to the walls. I would definitely recommend them."

"We felt that we should not have had to pay 210$ for service that we had no idea was needed, as the previous technicians you have sent never advised biyearly maintenance. We could have received the same service for less money from Horizon or BGE Home !"

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Gypsum, CO

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
