"I have used About Green twice in the past 3 years. Our backyard has a lot of trees and very tall tree-type hedges. Since it was a major part of the reason we bought the home, we want to maintain the health of the landscaping back there. Vince and his team scaled and thinned/trimmed a couple very tall redwood trees, removed an unhealthy leaning tree and trimmed/maintained many other trees on our property. Vince is a pleasure to work with and very friendly. He is extremely knowledgeable in all of the trees that we have and suggests what service to do on each type of tree based on his knowledge of each. He explains it very clearly to us who don't know much about the subject. His work is quality and his goal is 100% customer satisfaction. On this last visit, they spent a few hours trimming a tree-type hedge and when I came home from work, I wanted it around 3 feet lower. Even though it meant repeating the work for a few hours, Vince did it without any argument. To me, that was a true test of customer satisfaction. They complete the work in a timely manner, over a 2 day period. They cleaned up the yard like new and disposed of a ton of trimmings (never seen so much in my life). I never even consider another tree service besides About Green. I plan to have him come out after summer to suggest some landscaping ideas as I haven't used him for that before.."

"Melvin and the team at Urizar Landscaping designed and created an backyard for us that is both beautiful and elegant. I expected the total overhauling and re-designing our landscaping would be a challenging experience. The Job:

    Aeration:  Quick but thorough.  I've done my own aeration in the past so can assess job quality

    Fertilizer:  Applied fertilizer and pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicide as part of the service

    Clean-up:  Thoroughly swept all areas around the lawn

    Knowledge:  Very knowledgeable and forthcoming regarding lawn and weed-related issues.  Had a number of valuable suggestions for how we could improve our lawn's soil condition and enhance water retention (water conservation)  

 

Price: 

    Very good.  $72 (including 10% Angie's discount) for approximately 2000 sq ft of lawn

"I didn't think the follow up was great because we had questions after the initial visit. They were on time but there wasn't very much education on how to maintain the yard after the service. I think the deal was great but again the follow up with our questions weren't answered."

"We had our front yard redone with a facelift and some edging and mulch along a new fence in the back. They also removed several stumps for us too. We gave them an idea, they selected the plants and we let them know the look we were going for. It was amazing. Super reasonable, reliable and great to work with ! Will be hiring them for another project very soon. Highly recommend !"
