We offered to work with them to correct the mistake by waiting until the fall to do the aeration and re-seeding. "Initial dig went good, from there things went downhill. I talked with Carlisle Rubber about the MariDRI material used and Carlisle said a mastic calking (CCW 704 or CCW LM800XL) should be used under the (aluminum) termination strip at the top. I don't remember seeing anything like that being done, and Fahnestock never answered my question about this procedure. I also asked Carlisle if Fahnestock was an approved contractor for this material installation and they neither confirmed nor denyed my request. Fahnestock told me they don't do tamping in the backfill operation, which most others do. Backfill was a very quick & rough job in my opinion. In the rain right after work was completed still had damp blocks on the two walls. It has not rained that hard here since first month of completion, so I can't honestly say if this solved my problem. I paid fully the day of completion and had to request a paid invoice. I had quotes for a little more and am sorry I didn't go with a contractor who does this full time and not a part time fill in business."

"By far the worst business experience we?ve ever had. They did the work in May, then sat on our payment until September before cashing it. We thought we hired one company, but suddenly another one was contacting us ? a complete bait-and-switch. Communication was practically nonexistent the entire time. Completely unprofessional, disorganized, and dishonest. We would never hire them again and strongly advise others to stay away."

"Disappointed! Hired to clean out flower beds and mulch as well as trim hedge and plant seed/topsoil where a tree had been removed. Cleaning out the flower bed entailed them cutting everything off with a hedge trimmer and putting mulch on top. When I questioned the back bed and seeing it wasn't edged. they came back pulled some out, said he would check back in the next couple of weeks and spray if anything comes up. As I expected the weeds and things came up through the mulch. My garden lights haven't worked since they were here. Now that I'm far enough removed from my surgery I'll check out what is up with them. Never heard back or saw anyone until I posted this earlier today, now they've just come and took their sign off my porch -- never knocked on the door to check on things or discuss my concerns. Great way to do business."
