"Everything about my experience with Outdoor Solutions was positive. Jim was very easy to work with, flexible, and timely in his response to my questions. I was very appreciative that his company was willing to take on a smaller deck repair job. I had contacted at least 6 other companies over the last year, looking for someone willing to come out and fix two deck posts that were heaving out of the ground and pushing up one corner of my deck. Most companies refused to even call me back, and the others were not willing to look at my problem unless I wanted a complete tear-down and rebuilding of my deck. It seems that most companies don't want anything to do with customers who won't or can't spend $30,000 or more on a project, so I was thrilled that Jim was willing to have someone from one of his crews come work on my deck. He sent out Joshua to do the work less than a week after contacting him. I couldn't believe the quick response and the flexibility Outdoor Solutions provided in order to fit my repair project in around other larger projects. Joshua's work was exceptional in all ways. In my opinion, he did the work of a 2-man crew and worked until everything was perfect. He took pride in his work and was very detail-oriented. In addition, he was very friendly, courteous, professional, and hard-working. I am now able to enjoy my deck for the rest of the summer. "The electrician who came out was great--punctual, professional, worked efficiently, methodically, and was extremely thorough.  The kitchen light was fixed very quickly.  The porch light issue took quite a while to figure out, and in the process, he went through basically our whole electrical system (discovered a junction box had been covered up when the porch room had been divided at some point in the nebulous past); he corrected the issue with minimal damage to the wall.  Very pleased with the work, very fair price considering the amount of time/effort it took to diagnose.  Really appreciate the prompt invoicing via email, too--very convenient.  "

"We are thrilled with our new patio lighting.  He connected two patio lights through the towers to a plug in on the house outdoor wall.   Jim arranged for it to be activated from the inside, upgraded the materials on hand.  Not only was he competent, he was also personable.  The price was reasonable...he spent several hours on site, brought materials for $123.80, labor was $276.00.  He explained his work thoughtfully, made sure we had quality materials.  He listened to what we wanted and then helped us make it even better.  We will definitely recommend him and we will call him for any further services we might need.  He is the best. <br />"

"The overhead and recessed light problems were readily fixed; the home theater problem was not a major electrical problem and was fixed by resetting a system surge protector; the four smoke alarms did need to be replaced. Resolution required two separate visits, one to assess issues and the second to install bulbs and smoke/carbon monoxide alarms after obtained. Steve was the electrician both times and he did a very good job - he was professional yet friendly and worked efficiently and quickly. I was very pleased overall."

"<p>Two of the light replacements were an easy swap, the third was a challenge because it was controlled by two separate switches and it was 1926 wiring. The pendant lights were a nightmare for the journeyman. Took him all day and he felt badly about the high bill as a result. The previous owner got creative in how they created the soffit which resulted in the electrician constantly running into unexpected barriers. The electrician persevered though and figured it out. Our soffit looked like swiss cheese but we had painters coming in to do repair on another project so it all worked out. </p> <br />"

"Rob did the job for $660. Before calling Rob, I called the company that quoted a price of $1200 for starters. Rob did it for $660. He knew what he was doing and did it quickly. He arrived promptly, and went above and beyond the call of duty with respect to some of the repairs. I asked about various ways of doing it, and he gently explained how he could do it, but it might damage the house. I am very grateful."

"If you need any electrical work done around your house, don't hire anyone but Mendota Electric.  They are on time, efficient, honest and fair.  I found them last year when they did all of the electrical work on my kitchen remodel.  Josh was the one who did the work on both jobs.  He did a beautiful job then and now.  Mendota Electric is in my permanent file for electrical work.  I will certainly be contacting them again as I continue to rebuild my house."
