"I had purchased the tile from another vendor and brought it to the job-site for Mario and Son Tile to view for the original quote. <br /> Mario and Son Tile was very instrumental in helping me select the proper grade grout for this application as well as color matching the grout and selecting the correct sealer.  They even recommending using schluter-strip for a professional look.   <br /> The price was a bit high, but their professionalism and knowledge well justified the cost.   <br /> They arrived on time and cleaned-up when they left...even sweeping and wiping down the kitchen floors and walls by hand. Very thorough. <br /> The tile I selected is a multi-level surface, so when it was all grouted (and once it dried), there were a couple of areas that looked like there was no tile...just grout.  Not any fault of Mario and Sons...it's just they way the tile was made.  When Mario and Sons called me to see how the install went I mentioned this to them and they sent someone out to replace a couple of tiles in the area of my concern.  I offered to pay them (since I did not think it was their fault), but they corrected the issue without any additional cost.  Wonderful! <br /> The installers were great.  Addressed all of my concerns and seemed to really value the work they were doing.  Great to talk with and bounce ideas off of.   <br /> Would highly recommend Mario and Sons.  <br />"

"The online reviews and the sales pitch were outstanding. When it came to actually doing the work, the biggest failure was the lack of communication between the design department and the project manager and the onsite carpenter. I ended up paying a lot of money and not being satisfied with the end product. The project manager blew me off and minimized my concerns and then claimed he didn't. My husband is still replacing (2 months later) baseboard and door and window casing that they were going to charge us $90/hour to refit and replace. They also installed a washer and dryer and didn't take out the shipping struts. Luckily my husband guessed that they didn't do it, so our expensive washer was not ruined. I have to pay to have the shower floor replaced, but I can't afford to do it at the moment. They claim it's the materials I chose, but I think it's the way it was installed. I dread getting into my shower now... I reached out to them to detail my experience and they said they were sorry, but didn't take any responsibility, and they didn't offer to fix it. Oh well."

"Jim was courteous on the phone when he discussed the repair on the phone; he came within a few days of the call and was prompt in his arrival.  He seemed knowlegable about what was needed to repair the drywall and set about his work.  He was willing to go to Home Depor and purchase paint for the interior and the door of the closet and did a good job in painting.  The repair looked great and he explained to my husband and me what he had done and why. <br /> We were both very satisfied with him and appreciated his work.  He was very friendly and professional. <br /> We would definitely hire him again for our next project."
